Analytics (Patreon)

Just thought that I'd show you some of the behind the scenes of the Google Analytics stuff- as the hype from my post on /r/DnDBehindTheScreen died down, I've seen it taper down to a rather consistent 120 or so users per day. 

Due to these people likely purposely clicking through to the generator (rather than just browsing Reddit), the session duration has gone wayy up, and the bounce rate (which is how many people click and then leave without interacting further than the home screen) has also gone down!

The session duration is super useful for me, because it informs how I should be optimising my content; if I know that the average user is only using the generator for about two minutes, that tells me either they only need it for a specific purpose (grabbing the name of a tavern, rough description, exit out), they don't know how to use it, or they don't care about reading out the excessively flowery descriptions, which I totally get- the likelihood of your players wanting to know the rules for passe-dix while in the tavern is quite low, but I figured that I'd add it in anyway!
