So I still hang around DeviantArt. In fact, I think I need to be more active over there most of the time. Anyway, I saw this post from an artist:

And I noticed that they had converted their model from V4 to G8, though I found out later it was from Genesis 1 to Genesis 8 (and not V4). Anyway, I asked them how they did it and they listed a bunch of plug-ins for Daz that they used. These were all plugins that I owned. In fact, they were what I originally tried to use to convert my first model from V4 to Genesis 3.
But I wasn't happy with the results. However, this artist had obtained really good results, which is why I'd asked how they did it. When I found out they had used applications that I owned, I felt like I had missed something or done something wrong.
Either way, it was worth revisiting the process. So I tried it again, using some of the things I have learned over the last year and a bit.
Long story short, I think this does a pretty good job. If you transfer both the Base V4 shape (not the clone) and the character you actually want from Genesis 1 to Genesis 3, then you can end up with some decent results. At least better than going straight from V4 to G3.
If you go straight from V4 to G3, then the shapes don't quite match. If you use G3's clone of V4, then that has all sorts of its own issues that I have shown before. Genesis 1 (G1) has its own Victoria 4 shape however, so you can transfer your V4 character to G1, dial in a proper V4 shape, and then transfer that shape and your character to G3 as a single combined morph.
I think the face matches very well, except the nose isn't quite right. The model also poses way better than when I use the V4 Clone. The body isn't quite right, because I technically have two morphs dialed in (V4 and Lana), but it ends up being slightly more voluptuous which I don't think we mind. :P
Anyway, this is what I've been working on despite all the shit going on around me. :)
