Housekeeping

I haven't shared the situation with my mother for months, and if you're new, she's in California, 93, and has been in and out of the hospital since late May, and June was wretched with my daughter, son, and mother in the hospital in three different states at the same time for different reasons. I had a pre-planned business trip to San Francisco next week, and mom has taken a turn for the worse. To the point that Dr. Mrs. Malcontent is joining me. At the most, bullet reports are on Monday and Tuesday. Thank you for your understanding.

What's the big story? A Russian Shahed-136 kamikaze drone crossed into Romania and may have traveled as far as 21 kilometers into the nation's airspace. Additionally, Romania has accused Russia of jamming GPS signals in their territorial waters.

What's the second story? Our skepticism that Russia would announce mass mobilization in September was well placed, with the autumn conscription calling for 130,000 draftees.

It is truly mind-boggling to me that the IAEA did not call for the return of ZNPP to Ukrainian hands exactly one day after Russia took it.

Is the Malcontent barge pole still firmly fending off speculation/analysis about the Nord Stream blow up? Whodunnit?
