I think it is also very important to note that this operation in Crimea has been in the works for months and that it was carried out successfully even with the recent changes in the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. This indicates that they are able to carry on these complex operations even while fighting corruption and replacing personnel at the higher levels. The whole world should be impressed.

The potential implications for the other famous asymmetrical naval situation (Taiwan vs. China) make this story even more important.
