What's the big story? Ukrainian forces are pushing through Russian defenses south of Orikhiv and we're cautiously optimistic.

What's the second story? The Russian Navy fired warning shots at a civilian cargo ship on the edge of Turkish waters, and boarded the vessel in the first enforcement action of the unofficial blockade.

Cracks turning into gaps is a nice metaphor. Lets hope that those gaps turn into breaches and the breaches turn into collapses (of those sections). It is making a difference that Prigozhin and Strelkin and other critical voices have been silenced. The RMoD can continue to destroy their armed forces without any challenges. Russian history books will record another glorious and heroic defeat.

I agree. I love glorious and heroic actions of the Russian army when they are of the retreating type. Without being an expert at all, just from the rhythm of the front that you get from the report, I may be wrong but it just seems to me that Russia's doctrinal counterattacks are becoming more muted.
