The Russian Ministry of Defense is claiming the evidence of war crimes in Bucha are fake. They claim that Russian troops left Bucha on March 30 and the evidence of war crimes wasn't revealed until April 2.

If you are a Patreon and read out daily Situation Reports, you know that neither of these claims are true.

We were one of the first news organizations to verify the videos that were released on the morning of April 1, Ukraine time, on April 1.

Debunking Russia Ministry of Defense Claims About War Crimes

The Russian Ministry of Defense is calling the videos and pictures from Bucha fake. They claim they left Bucha on March 30, and the videos didn't appear until April 2 - 4 days later. Forget that March 30 to April 2 is three days. We show our research done since February 23 that Russian forces were still in Bucha on March 30, and the revelation of war crimes in Bucha came on April 1 - less than 24 hours after Russian forces left the area. We further show how there was intent and means to execute these crimes.
