Teen me loved this book and I've spent SO long looking for it since (thank you for giving me the name!) The insight about the universal blame and shame in stories aimed at young teen girls is worthy of a long ponder - a depressing, but good consideration. Gotta say, the difficulty level/high stakes in choosing dialogue is absolutely accurate to the otome (visual novel) genre, past and present. Also to the villainess isekai genre in manga/manhua.
