Yeah I i think I was to hyped for this series and it didn’t live up to expectations not as book accurate as I was hoping it was still alright just not as good as it could have been

I liked the series! the only part I found truly annoying was the trio knowing a lot more about the plot and not falling into traps at all, it kind of takes away the learning moments in the book. it’s kind of akin to the hp movies’ treatment of hermione’s character, giving her dumbledore lines and partially erasing her flaws. Book Percy was great at adapting and improvising, something that’s difficult to show when there is no need for it and I also felt like it kinda stepped on Annabeth’s character a bit. but ultimately the show probably suffers most from not-enough-time-to-tell-the-story-as-well-as-it-could-itis. come on, when you only have 8 eps, they should at least be 45 min. right? RIGHT?!
