This was one of my favorite book series in high school, so I was very disappointed with how poor the film was. Here's hoping the TV series does better!

For anyone wondering, yes her debut novel, Succubus Blues, has smut scenes. The whole series has a bunch of them, but honestly Richelle Mead sometimes makes interesting comments about the human condition that will pop into my head again years later, somehow.
