It’s funny you posted this after I rewatched your hobbit videos. Then as I’m watching Fellowship this notification came on. I will have to watch it before I start Two Towers.

There's a minor editing mistake around 24:42. When you narrate "he answered in a whisper" the text on screen instead shows the previous dialogue of "You had better go back west to Hobbiton--but you can go by road this time." Dunno if that's something that can be (or need be) corrected before the video is uploaded to your real channel.

I read in a biography that one of Tolkien's daughters had this doll that she named Tom Bombadill and she told her dad at one point that he needed to make Tom a character in one of his stories. So this dude straight up went "obviously my daughter's doll is the most powerful character ever!"

The sword is cool (and of course you would appreciate the specialness of the pommel-hole more than I would, since I have never attempted sword-smithing myself), but my favourite is the Ranger sword or, more to the point, the whole package with scabbard, snack knife etc. :D Yeah, I know I'm weird, but the way that was put together tells stories. :)

Nice go choosing Farmer Maggot! I was wracking my brain trying to figure out who your pick was after Glorfindel. Maggot was actually featured in the radio drama adaptation, and I loved hearing his story there.
