Love this movie, and I've very much enjoyed other novels in the series. I find Interview a bit rough, though, because of the perpetual need to sigh "oh, just shut up, Louis!" ;)

A little present on a cold, rainy sunday, I enjoyed it very much, but not only because I love the book and movie. Well done as usual, beautiful youtuber. And I overjoyed to heard we will get Queen of Damned, too, such a trashy movie but great music.

So eternal vampiric life is a metaphor for survivors guilt?

My life is complete today. Honestly, I used to LOVE this movie and then I grew to hate it due to some not so nice things I learned about Anne Rice (do not get sued, Dom!) and this video reminded me of the love so I am a happy little burrito right now. Thank you!

This video just convinced me to become a patron so damn good job

Just became a Patron. This is the review that won me over. Great work. Just to save you some frustration, Anne's best work in the Vampire Chronicles are Interview with the Vampire, the Vampire Lestat, and Queen of the Damned. Afterward she cut a deal with her publisher that axed an editor and her work suffered. I adored these books as a tween and only recently went back to them and found that IWTV still stands up to time well. In fact, it was more nuanced than I originally thought. Although I don't want to discourage you from reviewing the later novels. They're so nuts and the writing is so bad that I can't help but think they were all first drafts she turned in to publish for money. i LIVE for your reenactments. Paul fell down the stairs by the way, but thinking that he fell off a balcony cracked me up for daaaaaaaaaaaaays.

BTW the movie QotD is based on TVL AND QotD. So you'd have to read both books and then review the movie.

That actually makes a lot of sense. The trilogy are amazing... body thief is ok... almost everything else is trash. I think i liked The Vampire Armond, but it was basically just an altered TVL.
