Its ok to vote for multiple options if you have a second favourite choice. Just a reminder that this is a book review, not a Lost In Adaptation.

Does the Nancy Drew video include you dressing up in vintage sleuthing attire? ;)

I'd say there should be a bit more distance between the LiA of Interview with a Vampire and discussion of its sequels. There is a lot of adaptation to talk about with the Witcher, so I wouldn't want JUST a book review for it. A random Nancy Drew would be my top choice, just because I'd like to hold out for a full LiA on How to Train... does that say Date? Okay, if that's not a typo, How to Date Your Dragon is my top choice, with a Nancy Drew book as my second.

How to what-now your Dragon? Oh I HAVE to see that!!

I am voting for How to Date your Dragon, because Anne Rice and Andrzej Sapkowski are both douche bags, and I always found Nancy Drew books meh. Plus, who could pass up on hearing your thoughts on a book about dragon banging?

The first Witcher book is just super horny Grims Fairy Tales.

Oh dom the pain you put yourself through for us. Thank you

Same as Llasnad, but you can't convince me to read it.

So. The dragon smut is real. Oh, gods. Tell me more.

I just looked up How to Date Your Dragon, because that has to be the novelist version of clickbait right? AND IT ISN'T. Omg Dom, you're too good to us.

douledamn

How to Date Your Dragon better feature a Terrence appearance. Speaking of which, I'm not sure if this is related to Terrence of Ravenclaw, but he might by interested in this :https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Terance

So you're now becoming the person who reviews adaptations of books into movies and unusual romance novels. I think at this point you're philosophically obligated to review the Twilight Series, Dom.

How to Date your Dragon.....I must know more

How to date your dragon. It reminds me of a hentai I was told about.

My dreams are coming true! How to date your dragon for the win!

I wanted to vote to a Witcher but right, this is too good book and too big for just review, it should be LiA (although for that you have to wait for Netflix show or put yourself through misery of watching polish film which is not very good (although when I watched it I was ten so I remember nothing)

Olga Drozd

Why is Sapkowski douchebag? Besides, book is really good (I don't know what was lost in translation or if it's as good for non-slavic people [I said that because I heard Witcher as a book is famous not only in Poland but in Russia and Ukraine also])

Utaku Beta

I love you Dominic....But yeah you need a break from the hard serious stuff. Dragon smut it is!!!

I would love to hear you review The Vampire Lestat as well, but How to Date Your Dragon was just too good to pass up.

I need to see a review for a book called how to date your dragon, it sounds like poorly written fanfic of the DreamWorks franchise

Anonymous

Lol I've been meaning to read how to date a dragon. Now I will have to.

Here is why I think that despite the vote you should do The Vampire Lestat. It is the only time you will do it. It will be right after the interview LiA, and will tie in. The others can all be done any time.

Anonymous

To clarify, The Vampire Lestat is worth reviewing, but only if it somehow ties to the superior previous book.

I confirm that the Polish film/series (they basically same, the film is just bits of the series cut and glued together) are not good at all. Questionable special effects aside, they took a racist BS comment said by one jealous dude in one story, later repeated sarcastically by the Witcher himself, and they treated it as 'fact' and build a good part of plot around it. Apparently two anthologies of short stories and a 5-book saga didn't offer better ideas that were actually canon *eyeroll*.

Would not recommend doing The Witcher as Dom should watch that awful polish miniseries ora the movie combinig it (I'm polish so I know what I'm talking about). Aaaand I'm cringing a bit at the new series as it completely lacks any slavic spirit. But I recommend the book, though I have no idea how it works in translation. Also the 2nd and 3rd games are great.
