I admit I've never read the book or seen the movie, I do know Dick King-Smith was a pretty popular check out at the library and from what I can tell is bit of a British version of E.B. White - but then again, the only E.B. White book I've read is Charlotte's Web.

I want you to return to some adaptations that you are a bit too nostalgic for, and bring in another voice who doesn't share that same nostalgia. Like, I LOVE Howard the Duck. You know, the one panned by critics and suggested to be one of the worst Marvel movies ever made? Yeah. I love it because I watched it when I was just a child. I can view that movie without kid goggles on. Babe was not my movie. I was too old when it came out. My step-sister watched it on repeat , which made it into an ear worm instead of something pleasant, and it felt like a cash grab for those who loved Charlotte's Web. (I loved Charlotte's Web.)

I didn't know that Babe was a book but it doesn't sound like I've missed much 😃 For a future video I suggest 101 Dalmatians, the book and the original Disney movie.
