OK this is just a sneak peek of something I have been working on in the background.

I guess more than a few of you have been thinking "OK so what happened to Amanda 2.0?" Around 18 months ago I realised I was spent on the original Amanda model, having done everything I could think of to her in every outfit and with every hairstyle and villain - I was burnt out and so I re-imagined her model.  I am still very happy with New Amanda, it's just that a funny unexpected thing happened which is that I got a little overexposed to HER - and then unexpectedly 'Teen Amanda', Amanda the Mesmer, and more recently Young Amanda (with her new uniform and pink shirt outfit) all seemed fresh again and Amanda 1.0 burst back to the fore.

I guess I should learn from this that I just need to avoid tiring myself out on a character or a model and give her the time and the chance to come and give me a kick and say hey - remember me?  It's exactly what happened with Penelope by the way.  So no-one is going to be retired, don't worry, I don't fall out of love with these models and they will always possess the ability to captivate me.  If they did it once they will do it again.

All of this can be said of 'New' Amanda.

I decided, in the light of the recent Young Amanda plot, that it was high time to see what a Young version of Amanda 2.0 might look like.

Well, the answer is quite interesting as her normal appearance is quite adult-looking.  With her high cheekbones and arched brows, she is more film star than girl-next-door, maybe reflecting her mature and established fan base.  So I had to really crank up those youth morphs... but the result is quite pleasing.  Odd things are that I haven't quite settled on her hairstyle yet (it's down to two that are very different and both have advantages) plus also she doesn't seem to suit the school uniform.  On that point, it's fine, the other Young Amanda can own that...

So what's posted above is just a very quick render of an concept for an outfit for her.  It combines something of the full-aged Amanda (the shirt is very much her style) with a more tomboyish hair cut and a lot of elements drawn from her teen rebel outfit.

I hope you like this - let me know your ideas and feedback - I could be giving her a little adventure in the New Year.

Those of you who like and prefer Amanda 2.0, don't worry, she is not going to disappear, and I will hopefully be able to post a Christmas holiday picture of her soon.

I think I like this even better than Rebel Amanda. Great job on the outfit! She looks fantastic.

Well, elements of Rebel Amanda in there, haircut is similar and some string top combo hidden under that shirt :-)
