Young Amanda - CYOA based outfit (Patreon)

Today I received a new Choose Your Own Adventure book: CYOA #79 Mystery of the Sacred Stones.  Having completed my Fighting Fantasy collection a couple of years ago, I have since been buying CYOA's on and off.  Although most CYOA's feature an asexual or boy protagonist, some indicate the player character is a girl, and those are the ones I tend to collect.

CYOA#79 is set in Florida and has a nice Nancydrew-esque heroine pictured on the front cover, so I bought it.  It is quite a nice little CYOA with some bad fates, like being stung by a scorpion and buried under a ton of sand.  There's a quite interesting villain, a women with magic hypnotic powers who goes around paralysing people with her mind powers.  She can freeze people, command them, and even just make them stop breathing. You keep finding the victims either paralysed or dead.  It's possible through your choices to come up against this baddie, and since you're just a basic girl with no powers, you don't stand much of a chance.  There are a couple of The End pages that really were superb and ticked all my boxes for a CYOA bad ending. 

This of course sent me to the computer quickly to try and make the outfit of the girl on the cover... for Young Amanda of course!  I think it really suits her.  Does she really need pantyhose all the time?  I don't think so.  I think she can look great without them.  I had already (of course) been playing the CYOA in my mind as Amanda so the visual aid really helped.

Of course, having made this outfit, I then went on to do half a dozen studio pics of poor Amanda as she might look after one of the bad endings.  I can upload as many as you like.  Yesterday I had no idea I would be making these pictures - I am afraid that's just how inspiration works.  I do wish I could focus myself around the long list of things people have asked for but if I could do that I would have a lot more patrons and also be charging more money(!)

If anyone has recommendations for CYOA's, particularly those with girl protagonists(!) please let me know in the comments or by message.  I also hope you like this new style for Amanda.  I realised that the reason I hadn't done anything with her for two years was simply that I was bored with her outfit.  Through making her uniform again, she has become interesting to me, very interesting.  Who knows what I will come up with next.  Just making this up as I go along.
