So I was right on my prediction, the guy is basically mass summoning wild demons to fuck everyone over. Bricks will be shat when people start having to potentially deal with hundreds of archdemons. Hell, there might even be some wild primeval demons joining the party.

So Belzu just let all the slaves go. Huh. Wonder if we'll ever see Alix again? Honestly, besides causing the irony of Belzu, the Lord of Lies, keeping his promise to them, I can't see why they were introduced.

Alexey Gladkich

A POV character to show what Belzu does - without making Belzu a POV character to hide his motives.

Love the chapters, stop beating yourself over, you're the author who releases the most content and one of the most interesting world on royal road, and are personally my favorite out of half a dozens other authors i patron, if you're feeling down take a break after the belzu fight it's okay. Please please please don't burn yourself out.

I think we are all happy you put in the effort. I think episodic stories in progress require readers to be patient. Go with a pace that works for you and we will adapt.

Tjark

Yeah, hope we'll see her again. She might have served a purpose like Alexey said but it would still be a waste to abandon her completely now. Although I do wonder how Belzu expects the slaves to survive after unleashing wild demons after them. I doubt he can or wants to protect all of them with illusions forever.

When you put yourself down, you believe it, even if it's not true. And it's not even close to true. We love your work and your output, so you can, too!

Do you refer to "Nexeus: Mortal Realm"? Are you sure it's a planet? In general, it doesn't seem that MelasD is consistent with the numbers. Total human population is supposed to be around 10-100 millions based on number of nations and their population... but it doesn't seem to match well with number of Elites and chances to get there.

Don't be too hard on yourself, it doesn't matter if you don't always manage what you planned. I certainly don't think you suck

This was a good chapter. Mostly because of Belzu's beliefs. Just like Salvos he reached a conclusion about a term that humans use but he made it become it's own thing. The small detail that he implied that he was once a slave both in mind and body compared to the slaves he saved that were slaves in body only is so good and draws a parallel in how Salvos classify someone being "Wild". Aka this chapter is awesome. Thanks for the extra treat MelasD.

I hope Alix becomes a recurrent character and that she will grow, perhaps alongside Salvos

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter.

It might be ironic, but all it really highlites is the fact he hardly ever makes promises. That would make him the most honest and dishonest person. Because if you didn’t know this tid bit, you’d probably fall for what he says.
