This is the second patron-only release, introducing the synergy skills system. I decided to open this one up to the $1 patrons. I really appreciate your support, too - the fact that you like my game so much that you give financial support means a lot!

Anyway, I've been very busy with other stuff during this update, I hope I haven't accidentally introduced any new bugs. >.< If you played 0.25.0, the main new content is three synergy skills in the training area. There will be another public release with further polishing on Friday, of course.

Not sure if there was a problem with my download or something but the graphics and font folders were missing when I unpacked the executable. Game seems to run fine, but they are supposed to be there right?

When I place any two characters who have synergy in the formation, and try to bring up skills screen for the character with new skill my game crashes. Does the bug still occur if you've been in combat at least once in 0.25.1?

Did you change Robin's RP's? Because in 25.0 I finished "part 1" with 97 RP's and then following our talk in the bedroom she ended up with 100 RP's. In 25.1 I still finish "part 1" with 97 RP's but talk in the bedroom only give +1 RP so now Robin is at 98 RP's. Was that intentional change or a bug?

Intentional. She wasn't supposed to get +3 from both of those events.

Well, about this update: I liked seeing Esthera again and her interaction with Nalili (I think her sprite is not well positioned)... I liked the interactions beetween party members too (I finally get Nalili to call me "Daddy", so it was great). Also, got to know more about Trin, that was cool. My only "con" was that we got the new skills but couldn't test them. Perhaps some sorf of a training doll that gives 0XP in the training camp? PS: Loved the dialogue where she says "did you just insult me? Call me dirty cunt", or something like that. Would like to see some verbally abusive sex with her and Simon. PS2: "Finally". Was worth the wait.

Thanks! This is a nice surprise to get access to the build early. Much appreciated - The Last Sovereign is one of my favourite games, and I'm comparing it with finished, mass-market titles when I say that.

Trivial bug report: after investing discretionary funds into City regulations for mercenaries, the option to invest in it was still there.

If you try to actually invest in it again though the guy will tell you that you already did so, and that things are going smoothly. So it might be there on purpose since there's continued dialogue for it.

I've given the synergy skills a brief go in the Order trial and they all seem to work for me. I noticed a couple of typoes in the latest version, but everything else seems OK. The extra lines you've added for clarity since 0.25.0 are all good improvements, thanks for those. I've also finished my alternate playthrough with the dominated versions of Altina and Varia. Despite my discomfort at the rapey stuff and the deterioration of both girls' minds, I did appreciate the way their alternate personalities subtly affect everything from sex scenes to NPC reactions to gameplay effects like in the battle for Yhilin. That's got to be a challenge in terms of coding, writing, and balancing, so kudos. On the way, I noted down a few typoes and suggestions from older releases: Maybe 'Orcent' could be in blue text here (just out of interest, is it "ork-ent" or "ors-ent"? I've asked the sprite creator for a green variant, hopefully it will arrive in time for the public version.

Didn't mention this during the initial release, but I was so hoping that refugee group from the Incubus Emperor was going to be led by Riala. There's been too little of her for far too long. Here's hoping she makes her escape to Simon's bed during the coming Aram meddling.

(Can't seem to get my comment posted, so I'm trying again; apologies if you see this comment duplicated.) I don't know whether this has already been reported since it pertains to the Zirantia section, but there's a graphic bug with the tent outside the Incubus ruins. There are no issues with it while the party is working at the ruins, but the dark entrance graphic fails to appear when the party is leaving the ruins, as well as when the ruins are opened. Instead, it looks like there's a cutout in the tent; you can see the sand underneath. Also, I had a suggestion regarding music choice for the new training clearing: Perhaps it's just my taste, but the music used in the secret caverns doesn't feel right for the clearing. I get that the clearing is an extension of the caverns, but the overall ambience is very different (dark tunnels vs. open space outdoors), so it feels a bit off to me that what I'm hearing is the same when what I'm seeing is so different. Maybe the track used in the Ardoheim camp could work better? Aside from its overall feel, I'm reminded of when Simon said he wanted to spend some time training at the camp before he was interrupted by Riala; now he finally has a place to do that.

Personally didn't think of it as "tunnels music" as much as "secret base of the conspiracy" music. I like the peaceful camp music, but it doesn't seem appropriate for that, or for a training ground in general.

/sigh, reaching out to the community here, after the latest windows update my computer locked me out of being able to sign in, and kept assigning me a "temporary id", after I *thought* I had researched and found a fix, I actually managed to delete everything saved under my windows ID, including TLS and *all* save games. If anyone has a save game where Altina and Varia are mostly sane and the Ardford summit went off pretty much perfect, I would appreciate a share if you can. I usually lurk on Legend of Krystal forums, or name your preferred forum and I'll meet you there. Kinda depressed atm, Thanks all.
