This is the second in my epic fantasy series (which started here), an attempt to do a whole bunch of things I've discussed in the past. Since a lot of you are new, I'll just say that it's an effort to merge wuxia, western fantasy, and progression fantasy to reflect on power and heroic narratives. It's a bit of a "road not taken" in terms of treatment of Chosen Ones: they're played for comedy in TLS, horror in this series. It will build to be a narrative as complex as TLS, though of course that will take time.
