This side project has been cooking for a long time, but it's finally time for another demo! You can play it here:

https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/796886

Patrons, this version has some improvements based on your feedback and a bit of new dialogue, but it's pretty similar to the previous build. If you have a second, I'd appreciate you still giving the game a click if you have time, or the other good stuff if you have a Newgrounds account.

Anyway, please look forward to a fun little bit of TLS art this Sunday. ^-^

This version feels more enjoyable than the first public release; I remember the first release needing a lot of grinding to get enough coins to get upgrades. There's still some grinding, but it's not nearly as bad. (Of course it's possible that the grinding is only necessary because I'm bad at the game :P) On another note, I found a bug where the game crashed after Runman collected a power-up with a lightning bolt on it.

Pros: The people princess Plum has to deal with within her realm look/talk/act just as unbearable as she claims. And the story build as a parody to Mario Bros is funny. The upgrades can be bought with an acceptable amount of grind without feeling annoying, but more like an achievement. Cons: I can finish the demo by just improving the first three upgrades. There is no incentive to try out the other upgrades because the first three work together so well already. Darwings: The princess' eyes in nsfw part of 2-E are much bigeer than in 1-F or 3-G. It happens in the sfw-scenes of other levels too, but not as prominent. The game overall looks to be on a good track.

Thanks for the feedback! Regarding your con, it's entirely possible that some rebalancing is necessary, though the difficulty on this build was intended to be easy overall. I intended the quests that focus on a particular thing to encourage the player to change up their upgrades, but it might not be effective. Which three upgrades did you use?

Leveler All

i think that beside your epic on TLS, you have been touching plenty of other geners of styles, time loops, VA yandere, eldrich, it must be fun for you been able to expand and see what coes up.

Yes, being able to explore in multiple directions is definitely how I'm happiest working.

Just got around to trying this version. Don't have a lot new to say other than the changes from the last build all seem like improvements. The thrower flashing when about to leave the screen, and the countdown circle when using Helper are both greatly appreciated. The big colored arrows are a lot easier to react to quickly than the pictures of keyboard arrow keys. This version seems pretty solid to me. Looking forward to seeing where you take it with the future levels and story.

Thanks for the feedback! Particularly the colored arrows: I hoped those would be an improvement, but you're actually the first person to comment on them.
