Well, I was hoping I could say that the move went incredibly easily and I had crazy amounts done, but it looks like that's not to be. Things aren't bad, though, and they'll get better. My schedule wasn't too strained to get Noxian Nights out properly, and it shouldn't be too full to finish the next version of both games either.


One of the secondary issues sucking up my time is one that many of you will actually appreciate. Several people have requested a proper map for the game, and I've reached out to some people about this. Depending on how much they charge (cartography is expensive T-T) you could be getting some maps before too long to help keep the politics and geography straight.


I don't know if I've said this officially, but Aka's Route won the vote, so it will be version 0.12.0. You'll be spending your time in Ari-Yhilina with a lot of political and magical work to do. Based on comments, I think many of you will be happy to get more info on the city (not to mention answers on some character subplots).


That's all for now. Off to finish some replies and then get to work.

Is this going to be a full world map, including places we haven't been to yet? Would be very interesting to see where the story will be going next...

I'm surprised you're having maps done professionally, especially before the game is done. Won't you feel limited later if you need to add or change something in the geography?

glad to hear you are settled...ish and I'll get the reviews of both Megara's route and Noxian Nights. .2.0 done soon as well as emails. Life has been busy for me too :P

While I'd get a full world map, most likely it would be broken down into continent components. You'd see some things you haven't, but not everything.

While this may be hubris talking, I feel confident enough in my planning that I don't believe a map at this large a scale would be limiting.

I wonder what happens to Altina this version if Simon hasn't fucked her yet. I'd expect at some point the game would go "nah, you've been indecisive on this long enough, player" and this seems like a good point at which to do it.
