Novel: Ironside (Patreon)

Since several of you expressed interest, here it is! Ironside is a standalone fantasy novel, available in the usual PDF/epub/mobi formats:

One key note: this novel was an attempt to write in the grimdark subgenre. It's a crapsack world with no idealized heroes. I wanted it to be "fun" in the sense of it being engaging, but don't expect a happy ending.

The reason I put effort into this now is that a popular fantasy author I'm talking to expressed direct interest in potentially doing cross-promotion with this novel. No agreements have been signed, but that's potentially a valuable opportunity to reach new readers.

Here is what I'm planning to use as an official introduction:

"The king is as good as dead.

With every noble family and underworld faction planning his murder, and more than enough assassins in the country of Crimman, it's just a matter of time. The only question on anyone's mind is when the king will die and who will come out on top. As their schemes play out, barbarians along the border and unnatural twisted humans plague the kingdom, threatening to topple more than just the king.

As the bloody mess grows, it will encompass a tired veteran, a young underworld bodyguard, a bitter knight of the realm, and a countess who only wants peace. Whatever side they find themselves on, they know one thing: if anyone sings songs about this, they won't be pretty."
