January 27 Update (Patreon)

The new TLS update seems to be going pretty well. I'll be uploading version 0.41.2 after I get a few more feedback reports. My plan is to use a new Patreon feature that will theoretically notify you guys when I update the old post, so keep an eye out for that.

Meanwhile, I've submitted the Steam build to Valve again. Fingers crossed that they won't shoot it down for dumb reasons again. I still plan to do that release in around two weeks, but I wanted to start the process early in case there are more problems.

The next release will be the official launch of New Game Minus #2. The earliest people to hear about the release will be those on my mailing list, but I'll also mention it here. We'll see if I can rank higher on Amazon than last time!

The other things I've mentioned are coming soon as well, but for now I intend to stay focused on these two things. You'll hear about the TLS releases via notification and I'll keep working away in the background. ^-^

Question on world history while you're waiting for other feedback, on a throwaway line from the Synod. Yelarel said there were "barbaric" "Elven Wars" in "centuries past", at least some of which must be presumed to have happened after the emergence of the Church of Ivala. Are these wars at all related to the expansion of Storgan speaking elves to the large areas where they lived prior to the start of the 2nd Arclent War? Ghenalese and Arclentian Storgan are implied to still be mutually intelligible and Darghelon and Gheldaron seem to be the most likely place for an Elven "Urheimat". I had previously put this Elven expansion before the start of the Arclent Era, like the Proto-Indo-Europeans, but now I'm wondering if the analogy of the Migration Era Germanic expansion of the Dark Ages might not be a more viable model, with waves of "pagan" Elves overrunning the nations of Arclent and Thenours and assimilating to Ivalanism and culture, but with some places (like Ghenalon) getting permanent Elvish ruling classes...

My internal timeline doesn't include everything, and some of the details I won't share for plot reasons, but here's an order of events: - Elves come to Arclent from Thenours. - Founding of the Church of Ivala. - Elven wars during the feudal era. - First Arclentian War. The region that would become Ghenalon sent elves across the ocean, establishing a fairly powerful population base on Arclent. Communications were maintained between the two for some time, but during Arclent's feudal era Ghenalon was dealing with its own issues and the connections were lost. The increasingly powerful Ivalan Church then clashed with the still relatively foreign elves who had likewise spread during that era.

I don't know if this is a good spot for it but, Durning the sex scene with Sarai on one of the pages; I couldn't tell you off hand. It starts with "abruptly Sarai pulled back. Grabbing her shift..." Very small one and one I skipped over because I know what it meant.

Minor issue: if I copy Reletima and get Renna to join the palace staff, shouldn't she count towards Fuani's quest counter?

Trivial issue: Talking to human formed restored Dari about the Council of Gawnfell vote in headquarters, she uses the monster form (Dari1 not Dari2) for "I still count, even if I've been rewomanned!"

Hi Sierra, I've found two issues in the update. First, not sure if this was already said, but I got limited support for Tak'Kan, however, Sarai tells me we didn't get any when I ask her about the results and haven't seen any significant changes in the region (one new investment in the mine and that's it) Also, regarding Sarai, if you try to check her profile in Yarra's harem menu, the game crashes. I made yet another run through the council to optimize results and see the new flavor with the Zirantian envoy and other incorporations and I'll probably do another more to try some variatons in the votes. All in all, amazing update. Keep up the good work ;)

In 0.41.2, the initial garden of steam conversation from the ardan succession crisis is still popping up.

Found a strange dialogue, one of the soldiers in the Aram desert that blocks the way to Eustrin seems to think the church agreed with keeping the dwarves oppressed when I had Heavy Impact. Misinformation?

Played through 41.2 on my terri-bad save. Managed to make it through the council without a game over, while still failing at everything (except the Megail request, because I sided with the merchants earlier in the chapter). Curiously I somehow managed to get Herin elected with strong support the first time, so I had to go back and ensure Kaskia got the job instead. It was funny seeing the sanitation mages come to my aid, as basically the only thing I ever invested in, and for them to still fail to make any difference :) I can't wait to see all the horrifying repercussions.

Well after this update i made a new save from the start and i can say that this save is the best one yet :D also i managed to get everything on a positive note from the The Council of Gawnfall :D with an exception of a slow start of the Succubus Knight Order and on the Church Action against the fucklord but they have full control and the minimum requirements for Ivalan Succubi Joining the Church :D and i can't wait to get to spend almost 3 mil PorN in the next chapter :D

New bug in Tak'kun farm that you can walk on the hay instead of being blocked off.

Might be intentional, but in Aka's route, after you help the Cult of Magic, Vera appears both at the dead end tunnel to explain the tower is a decoy for people looking for them, and in her normal position with the others.

Where is there a farm or hay in Tak'Kan? Is that related to an investment? EDIT: Never mind, didn't notice there is new content yet again. :)
