I am fairly hopeful that TLS 0.41.0 will be out on Friday. Right now all the essential content is added, but there's a lot of optional stuff I'd like to include, and none of it is edited. So the final version may have some rough edges, but I'd very much like to get the release out then. It will include some long-awaited content I've enjoyed writing. ^-^

Right now the plan is for this update to happen before anything else. Once the TLS update is out, then I'll start thinking about the Steam release, audiobook, novel launch, Once Ever After, etc.

Neat and an interesting screenshot! Hard to say where it is just by going off the architecture, I can't recall that floor and wall set used together anywhere to date. Doesn't look like the usual New Givini stuff. Looking forward to it.

Have you tried something like Recuva for recovering the files? They are .rvdata2 files if that helps you find them.

Are there going to be many changes to the Gawnfall part of things? I mainly ask because I want to avoid backtracking if there will be significant changes.

Yes, this update includes multiple changes to Gawnfall, shifting balance on certain issues significantly. I hope it will be finalized by version 0.41.2 or so.

Lost my extra HDD when I updated my PC - which had all my games on it. Now I have to start completely from scratch to get to the new content... but I also get to see any little tweaks you made to older stuff over time. #ConflictedFeelings

In the interest of imposing on your time, SL, I'm revising the Timeline page to bring it up to date with material since the Erosian Prelude in preparation for the 0.41 update. (Which I am delaying by writing this.) There are some history/lore/game chronology questions I have: 1.) You alluded to the Church of Ivala having control of a capital city during the period before the 1st Arclent War, during what I'm calling the "Arclentian Feudal Era". Was this capital city Gawnfall? 2.) Did we ever resolve the apparent contradiction between Sarai being born in 1115 AE while being old enough to have been present at Wendis' death in 1128 AE? I referred the matter to Lostone2 in his capacity as keeper of the character ages, but never followed up on it with him. 3.) What's the balance of local power in Stineford vis-a-vis Annah vs. Donovan's father the Duke? We've seen numerous cases of Annah legislating by fiat and enforcing her laws directly, but none by the Duke. We've also seen no indication that he had any part in the military defense of Stineford, but it's made clear that Annah and the church DID. 4.) Simon tells Wendis that it has been 29 years that she has been "not quite dead yet" when they meet after the Stenai trip, putting the minimum date for the Stenai trip at new year's of 1157 AE. Working out the duration between the fixed points in the game's chronology is a headache, but I assume the Prologue took place in late Summer or Early Autumn of 1153 AE, Orcent's transformation was two years after that in 1155 AE, that the 3rd Arclent War lasted through Autumn of 1155 and Chapter 3 started about one year after the war ended in 1156 AE. That'd imply that the duration of time between the establishment of HQ and the Stenai trip would have to have been a minimum of 3 months and probably more than 6, which seems a bit more than the content merits... Just making sure my reasoning on this is clear, and implicitly that the 29 year figure is correct.

Sarai probably needs to be aged up. 3) Annah has more power overall, but the things you observe have more to do with Donovan's father not being as aggressive with his policies. The party will eventually get back to Stineford to tie up some plot threads. 4) There's more time during the resting periods between major events than you might be thinking. My notes have two months gathering, relaxing, and exploring the Tower; roughly one month on the Ardan succession crisis, another month spent in the Tower, a month in the aftermath of the Fucklord's invasion, and roughly a month spent preparing for and then visiting Stenai.
