Patreon Round-Up: August 3rd-9th (Patreon)

Hello folks, I’m back with another Patreon Round-Up post. You can really tell that we have entered the back half of summer, when the days just seem to evaporate away. The past week was a busy one, the PCP channel was FINALLY restored, Khantehnt made its grand return, we got pounded by a tropical storm, and Digi and I took a trip to DC to celebrate her birthday (you can hear all about our adventure on the new 2 Weeks Review)!

No new videos have been posted to the main channel, but I am working on editing several projects, including one video that will be over 45 minutes long. Digi and I have been discussing the future direction and branding of the main channel and I am very excited for what is to come. Whoa Nate really went all out on editing this one. Listen to the Khantehnt crew talk about a corny classic OVA with badass chicks. Jess looks confused as always on how he ended up involved in more weeaboo shenanigans and it is AMAZING! Also Digi has magically regrown her beard just for the occasion. Yes, finally the Khantehnt we all have craved, back in boy-utiful 1080p. This is one of several anime discussions recorded last week at Vic’s new house. Pretty rad. In case you missed it before YouTube mistakenly took down the video during the hack, Digi, Nate, and special guest Hyperbit Hero talk about the incredible Patlabor OVA and film. Hero is super knowledgeable about the franchise and combined with the whacky analysis of the Khantehnt duo makes for some excellent discussion.

Episodes 215-220 on the PCP were uploaded to The Procrastinators channel. Digi only appears in episode 219 alongside Ben and later Hippo. I remember the episode being pretty fun. They talk about therapy, taxes, and answer some voicemails. I just now skipped through the episode and mostly heard Digi’s voice so I can recommend this episode in good faith lol.

We were watching this The Punk Rock MBA video the other day and were very surprised to see Digi to pop up on screen sporting her “Fuck Off I’m Autistic” shirt and all. Very based.
