Sorry this one is a day late--tho I'm sure I don't have to explain why it is lol. I don't have time to write out complete show notes right now, but if there's anything you're interested in leave a comment and I'll link you later. You can find the Anipages articles in the archive: http://www.pelleas.net/aniTOP/index.php

Film Vagabond

I feel like I'm one of 2 people in South Africa who knew about Protoculture because Macross played on a channel that was so fucking obscure and barren of anything a kid or a teen would watch I struggle to Imagine how I stumbled upon it.

Home For Infinite Losers honestly sounds much more of a interesting name for Hell lol

"Mysterious" doesn't begin to describe anime in the 2000's. I remember when I found out anime released on a strict time table on a season by season basis and was just floored. Or even before that, finding out that there were hundreds of anime that never saw the light of day in America and I could buy them or stream them. I think the first anime I ever watched that didn't air in America was Lucky Star.

Now I wanna hear your forum rant

If you ever have enough magazines to do a series on what they were all like, I'm looking forward to your video describing what the magazine "VA Beach Hermit Society" is like, that's my favorite mag.

digibro

That's not a bad idea, I might get into that in the next ep.

I am not sure if you have found this, you probably have, but Protoculture Addicts has its webpage seemingly well captured on Internet Way Back Machine including some articles you can access on the eZine. Its not the same, but its something. Below is a link to the eZine https://goo.gl/7uXrEK
