I DID NOT EXPECT TO LOVE THIS MOVIE AS MUCH AS I DID - It felt like it went by within 20 minutes with how enjoyable it is!! It was done in such a classical, magical way😊😊 I really loved the moral of the story, the characters, and how everything just CAME FULL CIRCLE. I feel like I have a newfound appreciation for the story now that I've experienced it, and I love it so much. :')

I hope you guys enjoy, thank you for sharing this experience with me 💝💖🥰

Should watch Aladdin next if you haven't ever seen. My favorite disney movie. Also love the cosplay theme. Also funny story, my Dad took me to see this movie when it came out in theaters when I was 2 years old and apparently we had to leave early because I was crying too much.

I cannot overstate just how much I love this movie. Literally everything about it is perfect. The characters, the songs, the animation, the score, the villain. Oh my god, the villain. Scar is hands down my favorite animated movie villain of all time. Jeremy Irons was absolutely perfect as the character. So glad you checked this one out.

2024-03-21 07:49:13 This was considered the last greatest musical Disney ever did until Frozen came out 19yrs later. Personally, I feel Pocahontas, Hercules, Mulan, and Tarzan deserve some credit between now and then but Lion King is spectacular. One of many reasons why I fell in love with African music, having almost never being exposed to it until then. Tears of the Sun (definitely not a Disney film, lol) also has a great African soundtrack.

This is the very first movie I ever saw in theaters, and I absolutely love this movie. It is an absolute masterpiece. It soundtrack is definitely worth buying because it as amazing. Here is a fact that most people know but this film’s story is based “Hamlet”. Lion King II is based on “Romeo and Juliet”. Lion King 1 1/2 is based on “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead”. It follows Timon and Pumbaa and is set during the original film. If you ever get the chance to watch the Broadway version of the Lion King, I would highly recommend it because it is amazing. One of my favorite parts of the stage version was when Scar had Zazu imprisoned and had Zazu sing to Scar. Zazu sing “no body knows my sorrows” . Scar tells Zazu to lighten up so Zazu starts to sing “Let it go”( in the movie Zazu sings “It’s a Small World”) with Scar reacting by telling Zazu “anything but that” . That got the biggest laugh when I saw it

Welcome to the community of people getting traumatized when they were kids just to love this movie when they became adults. And we will show this movie to our kids so they can get traumatized as well. It's the circle of life!

Love the fit 😸🦁

Every time I watch the movie I get blown away by how good the music is, and its because Hanz Zimmer wrote the music. You know a movie is good when friggin HANZ is a part of it. xD

I'm so glad you did the original and not the remake.

Great react! This is a special movie to me not only because I worked in a movie theater summer of '94 where this movie was playing, but also in 1994, I lost my father unexpectedly, and the themes of father and son really hit home. I probably have seen this movie 1000X but the death scene always gets me.

Late comment but this is my absolute favourite Disney movie, I’ve seen it hundreds of times. If you haven’t looked into the voice acting for this movie you should, mufasa is voiced by Darth Vader

Oh I know, he’s the voice of darth vader is what I meant
