Hey Vee I have a question. I'd like to request a specific movie that I think would do great with the reaction and you'd love but it's not super popular so I don't think it would win a poll. is there any way to donate to request a movie. or something along those lines?? I don't wanna be the person to comment to watch the movie in every unrelated post. So I'm just curious if you have an avenue to peruse in which I could request a movie. Thanks! hope to hear from ya! <3

Make sure you watch the mini-episode of Jack-Jack Attack (2005) before Incredibles 2. Rounds out Jack-Jack's story before the next film. Only 5 minutes. There was a lot of public demand for Incredibles 2 for years but no word from Pixar and Disney. Pixar films take a long time to make. Years. Their first big film, Toy Story, took 4 years to make. Pixar wasn't originally in the business of sequels because of that but that doesn't mean they never thought of it. They just had other plans and projects before that. It still takes a long time to make a Pixar film. Elemental, the last Pixar film released, took 7 years to finish. The Buzz Lightyear film, took 5 and a half years to make. The next film they are releasing is Inside Out 2 in 2024, which was announced in 2022, but the director has been thinking about it since 2016, 2 years after Inside Out came out. Pixar takes it's time.

V likes to keep things fair for her members. The only way (right now) is to post your request, usually on the poll posts works best, and she will add it to her massive list of suggestions. If she has already seen it, it won't be added because she doesn't do fake reactions. If she hasn't seen it and its a more uncommon/rare/outdated film that won't do well in the polls, she might add it to the polls just to see how much attention/votes it gets in general, as well as any comments, or how often it gets requested by other members. Then, if it satisfies some attention, it might get added to the random reaction draw list. These are bonus reactions that don't win polls, generally. But V decides when and which to watch. She hasn't updated her disclaimer about this in a while so this is how it has been done and what we, her members, have been told by her. She is always working to find a better way to do things so you can try contacting her through messages for a more personal communication about your request and offer, but again, V likes to keep things pretty fair for everyone. Believe me, many of us have a specific 1 or 2 requests we want to see. But this is how she is currently doing it.

Of course you loved Edna 😂 Fun fact about Edna is that she is voiced by Brad Bird, the director of the movie. He was explaining how he'd like Edna to sound to his team by doing an impression of it. Instead of going and finding a voice actor that could do something similar, the way Bird delivered Edna was too good for them to not have him do it himself. Fun little fact that makes Edna better to me in my opinion! One other thing that isn't super clear, but explains a few things throughout the movie, is that the movie is supposed to take place in 1962. That's why there's not really cell phones and why that old woman in the beginning couldn't just use the Internet.

The small angry boss you mentioned earlier in the movie was voiced by Wallace Shawn, best known for as the short angry villain in the movie Princess Bride. AKA as the "Inconceivable!! guy"

That's exactly how I do it💖 Thank you for explaining. While some reactors take requests with a much larger tier close to a $100, I feel that is completely out of touch for me personally. I already appreciate everyone supporting me on patreon so asking for more to do a specific reaction is just not me

Jonah Bertorelli

oh yeah that's ludicrous, I've seen others do requests for like 10 or 15 dollar donation and was more thinking that avenue haha. I have seen a couple higher tiers that allow personal requests, but wouldn't assume you'd want 100s haha. Just don't seem like that kinda gal. However It's a shame that that is the only path to getting a movie considered because as a reactor I feel like if you did have an amazing and unique way to get some lesser known movies out there, and it would expose your entire audience to it. You have the ability to get 100s if not thousands of people to find a gem that just got lost in the mess of hollywood. And you know there are tons out there! lol But that's just the problem I'm facing, I don't think there would be ANY fuss created or anyone but maybe one or two actually recognize it even if I spammed them on the post for ages. I've tried with some reactors for a while now without so much as a like or comment.. For more reason than one, (it has a very similar name to another film of the same genre that came out around the same time) but would for sure get a bunch of people to watch it. I understand that you're main goal is to get views, and interaction, not to watch movies. And I respect that. but it's a shame since you could very easily open up a bunch of people to a movie they would have never otherwise heard of.

Jonah Bertorelli

I guess I'll just start copy and paste spamming them in every poll post and hope people notice it. probably won't try for too long tho lol As this isn't for me really, it's for you and the audience and if nobody interacts there's no sense beating a dead horse and being that guy who comments the same thing for months lol. I hope you find an adequate way to take requests in the future <3

There are only two of these movies, what third movie are you talking about in your intro Vee? Oh never mind, I stopped to leave a comment then went back and like two seconds later, you correct your self…

Can't wait for you to watch Incredibles 2! Unrelated to this watch: The ride Incredicoaster at Disneyland is my favorite ride at the park with audio/music from the movie & its characters. It's a very smooth and fun coaster to boot!

The fact that it's set in the 60s is something that is so obvious once you notice it but I think because it's animated and because you don't expect it, it doesn't really register. And also because they never explicitly point it out. And I think especially now that the movie is 20 years old, maybe you have a harder time distinguishing what would be fancy technology at that time and what wouldn't. Like the fact that nobody has cellphones, maybe you think well, in 2004, maybe not everybody had a cellphone (although they pretty much did, just not smartphones, but flip phones and the like were pretty much standard at that time, at least for adults). Or at the end, when Dash is fiddling with the windows in the cars (because electric windows would be very fancy in the 60s and he wouldn't have encountered them before), maybe you're not sure how common electric windows were in 2004 or if most cars still had the roll levers. But yeah, the 60s vibes are basically everywhere, from all the interior design, from the way people are dressed, from the cars, from the level of technology. Michael Giacchino even plays on it in his awesome big-band-style score (which remains one of my all-time favourite film scores).

Yeah this movie is hilarious and “no capes” scene still makes me laugh 😆
