So "season 5" on CrunchyRoll are just the OADs 1-8, all of which can be watched by now because they all happen before season 4. Also, season 4 is broken up with episodes for most of it and 2 "movies" (actually just really long episodes) to complete the story. Yes, its sad that it ends, but giving the show 2 movies to finish the story is a pretty good send off. So its a little complex about the number and types of titans. Technically, there are 11 types, but only 9 of them are the titans split from "Ymir of Legend". The other 2 are what happens when everyone else is turned into titan without powers; the Pure and the Abnormals. You have also now seen 7 of the 9 Ymir Titans. Attack, Armored, Colossal, Female, Beast, Jaw (the bone mask/face thing with an almost lion's mane that was just in this mock battle), and Cart (galloping thing, lol). And you know about the Founding Titan (technically we haven't seen a fully complete Founding Titan, which was eaten by the Attack titan), which makes 8 of the 9.

So, "Season 4" is broken up into multiple parts, the first two being about as long as a normal season, with 2 movies being the final parts. So it's basically, season 4 part 1, season 4 part 2, season 4 part 3 part 1, and season 4 part 3 part 2.....not confusing at all. So while being in the "final" season, there's a whole lot of show left.

I'm so curious to see your thoughts as you learn more about the Warriors/Warrior candidates. I also was rooting for Reiner despite what he has done as he has shown to be such a humanly flawed character. Be prepared for your emotions to get VERY conflicted as the season unfolds. It only gets harder to watch, in the most brilliant way possible. Also, your question as to why the Eldians within Marley don't rebel against their oppressors - a very valid question - will unfortunately be answered very thoroughly. Can't wait for more!!!

This opening is the safest to watch so don't worry about that this time, don't watch s4 part 2 OP at first tho

Okay so don’t feel bad if you’re confused at all, it is a lot of new information and characters thrown at you and I was very confused my first watch. But just to clear it up, because it’s mentioned by Zeke in the episode so it’s not a spoiler, it’s been 4 years since he and Reiner were defeated by the Scouts. So it’s a 4-year jump (about 3 since our team reached the sea), which is why Reiner looks so much older. And damn, he aged well. 😂 I had the same reaction to him as you did, and isn’t it funny that we were actually happy to see him but still hate Zeke? They’re both the enemy but maybe it’s like you said, we grew to know Reiner more in the earlier seasons. Or maybe it’s because he took joy in killing our guys. 😭 Someone correct me if I’m wrong but you can watch this intro! No spoilers. I’m just so so excited for you to begin this season! In my opinion it’s the best and there’s just so much more to come, prepare for a lot of emotions. This is the season where you really understand how genius the writing is and why it’s a masterpiece. Buckle up! Can’t wait for the next!

It’s the part of the story that a lot of things are not explained yet, like how many years have passed. I think it’s better if you will find it out from the next episodes. Don’t worry, sooner or later you will get answers for everything. And you already noticed some hidden details too! Amazing! :) The Final Season has 3 parts (each of them are as long as Season 2, except part 3 which has two 1 hour long episodes) and it was aired from 2020 to 2023. 3 years!!! So it is okay that you look at it as different seasons. I think we all do. You can watch the opening, it does not contain any spoilers.
