The only difference between the versions is the pie scene from what I can remember.

BLGFish

Definitely need to watch the other American Pies. At least American Pie 2, American Wedding and American Reunion. The others are fine as well but Book of Love wasn't great. Also I really like Jims Dad because he doesn't make his son feel ashamed about sex and is what all Dads should aspire to be.

Jonah Bertorelli

I absolutely love how Vee gets a tiny glimpse into the male psyche during puberty and is like "oh obviously this is a sci-fi, this is not how humans think or act." lmao... Sorry to tell ya. They're not wrong when they say the teenage males brain is the equivalent to a psychopath. lol

giovanni

Now you gotta watch American pie 2 3 and 4 Lol

Rey

Man the movies a lot more cringey than i remember lol

The Dingo

Speaking as someone who was a teenager in the 90's, yes this is how boys are.

David Cansler

Loved the reaction. Ya got to watch them all now. American Pie 2, American Wedding and American Reunion.

Chris

"Stop making me watch highschool movies" guess it's time for Not Another Teen Movie

2023-11-25 13:01:51 Jim's dad, played by the amazing Eugene Levy, is a comedic god, lol, He is so good at straight comedy. He is amazing in every Christopher Guest film. Its really great that they made Jim have the most supportive dad. The combined shock of what he his witnessing with the attitude of "well, you're a healthy young man with healthy young urges, and very creative, might i say", lol. Finch was a role model to me, lol, he is absurdly ridiculous in a classy way. What else should one be in life? lol As for the older woman thing, it has more to do with the experience she has. Men and women are awkward at sex in the beginning, always. And most people don't enjoy embarrassing themselves while naked with someone, lol. And everybody thinks about wanting to be a good partner that knows what they are doing. So the fantasy of a woman that can teach a young man to be the best anyone has ever been with, lol, isn't farfetched. The older part is hit or miss. Sometimes its because teachers are authority figures that we visualize as older than us. Sometimes its the old sexist idea that a young experience woman is seen as dirty and trashy where as the older experienced woman is seen as refined just like Finch said, a fine aged wine, lol. Sometimes its seeing woman as having mature vs immature behaviors. There is also, sadly, those that didn't get enough nurturing and see older women as surrogate mother types. Takes all kinds. But mostly it revolves around wanting to be educated in bed by someone better than you and will also be understanding about it. So, I went to highschool with Chris Klein. He is pretty much this character in real life, well, at least back in highschool. It was a huge buzz around here when we heard he was gonna be in this movie. It was his second movie ever and his first movie, Election, took place in our actual highschool. So this movie was a little risky when it came out. I went to the movies all the time back then and when this film came out, no other movie was like this. It was almost educational to teenagers and very sex positive and open compared to some others at the time.

Great reaction! You have to watch American Pie 2, American Wedding, and American Reunion! Like this first film, the comedy is outrageous, but they have so much heart!

Matthew Lutts

I've been watching your videos since your first YouTube channel and today finally decided to pitch in on Patreon and give one of your full-length reactions a watch. So funny that this was the first one I've seen XD I agree that you should absolutely do the other 3 main films, this group of characters are so fun and likeable, and you get to see them through various stages of their lives with each entry.

Kevin Bartelen

Fun fact, most of the cast playing teens were only 18 or 19 at the time, except Finch who was only 17.

Joe Mallard

This was a great reaction, you totally need to watch the other 3 movies. I actually think the second one is my favorite.

Matt Chris

Vicky: Cuz you asked the same question during your Superbad reaction: No, as teenage boys we didnt talk about s3x all the time. Of course i can only speak about my personal experience. S3x, or Girls in general was definitely a topic of conversation...but I would say not more than 20% in total. And we did not use as much cuss words as in Superbad lol. But what's pretty accurate depicted in some teen movies tho, as teenage boys we did talk waayy more about s3x BEFORE we had our first time, than we did after. But again can only speak for my experience and friendships in my area. I grew up in Germany and Poland and had my teenage years in the mid and late 2000's.... so you would likely get 3.5 billion (more or less slightly) different answers to that question. :D

Bryan Tuck

Been a while since I've seen either version, but I think there were a few other extra bits in the unrated version. But honestly, I remember the rated version actually being a little funnier than the unrated one. Sometimes having restrictions forces you to be a little more subversive, and the jokes can be more effective. :)

StaticBlaster (A A Ron)

I love your full reaction. That was fun. I hope you react to the other American Pie movies in the main series.

Josh Noe

Please do the rest of them! They're so good, even the side story ones!

jason young

why cant i see the video it blurred out and no audio

Mathieu Paquin

Because you have to sync it with your own copy, otherwise it's basically copyright infringement

Eric M Brown

In the first minute I'm already hooked - "The one thing I know is that a teenager decides to stick his weiner in a pie and destroy it". Vicky you have already got the main idea lol
