No show does tension/panic scenes better than BB. The sound design at the end... that screeching noise... the whole scene is pure, concentrated unnerving anxiety. The dynamic is so remarkable of all the characters clashing at once and Skyler, going from playing peacekeeper for Walt to then Marie on the phone. She's like a punching bag getting hit with all of it at once. Walt's laugh makes total sense with the situation he's in. High school teacher gets cancer, cooks meth then his wife uses the money he made from it and gives it to the man she had an affair with? Many times throughout the show the characters are boxed in in shots by either a door frame or window frame etc. Divided by beams or trapped in picture frames. The symbolism in that final shot of Walt laying in the dirt underground, boxed in by the door that he built himself, to the crawl space, as if it's saying he dug his own grave and he's a dead man walking

Want to again recommend MR ROBOT seeing how much you love Breaking Bad with the amazing attention to detail, character work, filmmaking techniques, cinematography and overall creativity I think you would love Mr Robot as well, even though its a very serious and sometimes heavy show you'll be glad you watched it, I promise 😊

To answer your question about poison vicky: - gus probably picked a poison that's potent and quick but can be enzymatically broken down, you just need to know the right enzyme. or something that bonds easily to a certain molecule, in which case you just flood the body with it and wait til they pee it out while giving them flulids and nutrients. Gus also took two steps to mitigating most of the poison: he took a pill (probably activated charcoal) to absorb the initial dose, and then vomited it up, to prevent continuous absorption. Based on how the poison worked (quickly and without many symptoms) it's likely it's either a central nervous system antagonist or something that binds to the blood and blocks O2 absorption which basically suffocates you and turns off your brain

The last shot of this episode is what I saw that made me watch this show. It's so well done that I was floored.

Some peak acting in this episode. Don't know how you can resist binging it at this point. I would have gone insane waiting for the rest of this season.

Can't wait for you to see these next two episodes!!

I love how you are questioning this random personal doctor in the middle of the Mexican desert in a warehouse medical tent for not being worried about the Hippocratic oath of American doctors. lol You're too sweet Vee hahaha

That last scene is so damn intense with the raw emotion from Skyler after telling that she had given away the money and trying to calm down Marie while Walter is laughing maniacally in the background. One of my favorite scenes of the entire show!

Don't feel bad for laughing at the Ted part. When I first saw this, I laughed my ass off too. 😂
