Watching the intro is totally up to you, its the same with most anime a little spoilery, its just how much attention you give it. Demon slayer was kinda the same way, I need the reactions to songs at least once though lol, aot has some bangers. Love this episode and reaction too :)

Jean, at this point of the show, had also become a favorite of mine, he has already gone through some growing and character development, so it was interesting to see how that would keep going or if he would keep going. Yeah, some of these openings/outros would spoil some events in a more blatant manner, other openings/outros are more subtle if you analyze them they can also give some insight. So it comes down to how blind you wanna go into the episodes, some openings/outros you can see right off, others you should wait until the season is over. Maybe initially for a new song instead of re-syncing you could just listen to the songs and look away from the visuals, and just react to the songs initially. Put it all to a vote~!

I'd say pretty soon the openings do spoil things if you really take a close look at them, however the first time I saw them, I was excited knowing that X was/could happen and how they get to that point, basically, they just got me more hyped. So my answer is watch how you want to watch :)

You’re doing great at keeping up with everything! I love this episode mostly because there’s so much Jean and Armin haha. Awesome teamwork there, right? And Reiner! The way he sliced his way out of her grip like that! 🙌 Can’t wait for more! As for the opening sequence, I personally don’t like to watch because there are definitely spoilers but do what you’re comfortable with. I would always go back and watch after I finished the season/arc since they are excellent.

Keep guessing, by all means, but its a huge plot filled with false leads and dead ends; and we are given very very few hints until the reveal. It will make sense, though, which is a nod to the writing.
