If I may recommend one (since you’re polish too). The Cold War (2018)

Alton

Snowpiercer, starring Chris Evens. Good movie.

Anonymous

Planet of the Apes 1968. And hopefully if you like it, the 4 sequels. Then the reboot/prequel trilogy

Anonymous

Wayne - a low budget YouTube original series with a lot of heart.

Matt

Oh that is a fantastic recommendation

Matt

Children of Men

Navjot Singh

American Psycho falls into the must-watch category. :P And Leon the professional shouldn't be a recommendation anymore given the times we are in. For context, check out the allegations against its director Luc Besson and what Natalie Portman said about the movie. The movie itself has some inappropriate scenes.

How about The Usual Suspects?

Caleb Harvey

The grinch 2000 Ghost Bodyguard (Whitney Houston) Ben hur 1959 A christmas carol 1984

Anonymous

I never understand how any of these movies win over Master and Commander.

RavenLunatic

Being new, I don't know if anyone's suggested it before, but I will always say 12 Angry Men (1957) is the most important one for everyone to watch sometime.

TB

Come and See will win one day T.T

Flukemarm

The same could be said for The Avengers. Movies are movies, not their creators.

Anonymous

To many good films (the Pianist, the King’s speech, Come and See, Leon, …) you have to watch them all anyway

Seymor Butz

Frequency The Count of Monte Cristo Goodbye Mr. Chips (1939) A Few Good Men Ghost

E

The Outsiders” on HBO/max new version, I haven’t watched it and never been a fan of it, but I think it may make for good commentary.

- The Hobbit Trilogy - Cinderella Man - Rocky - Return To Me (Minnie Driver) - Circle of Friends (Chris O’Donnell) - Gone With The Wind - Sense and Sensibility (Emma Thompson/Alan Rickman) - Good Will Hunting - French Kiss (Meg Ryan) - Pride & Prejudice (Colin Firth) - Thunderheart (Val Kilmer) - Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein - Lake Placid (Bill Pullman/Betty White) - A Few Good Men - The Patriot - Little Giants (Ed O’Neil) - Sixteen Candles - Some Kind of Wonderful - Breakfast Club 🙂🙂

Isaac zaragoza

The Death Of Stalin, super underrated historical/comedy

LightsCameraJake

"Captain Phillips" Tells the true story of the hijacking of the container ship Maersk Alabama by Somali pirates in the early 2000s. Captain Phillips is portrayed by none other then our man Tom Hanks.

Robert Jewell

Quite a variety. I picked two, The King's Speech and Rear Window. But I really want to recommend AMERICAN GRAFFITI (1973) directed by GEORGE LUCAS. Thanks and Merry Christmas. 💕

Anonymous

- Demolition Man - Back to the future - Lethal Weapon - Bad Boys - Blind Side - Mission Impossible

Joe M

So I picked, Robocop and The Nice Guys. I think The Nice Guys totally went under the radar when it came out and no one saw. Aside from Deadpool The Nice Guys was my number 2 favorite comedy of 2016. As for Robocop, its just very nostalgic to me and a fun 80's movie. If these two don't win the poll I hope you can check it out at some point.

Kelvin

Coherence (2013) Triangle (2009)

RD

The demographic for this channel must be 40 year old men like who the heck wants to watch the Constantine movie 😭

Eric Janssen

The one guy who kept nagging for it, and the naive fangirl who thought it was a real thing because of that.

Flukemarm

Yeah with how frequently Nice Guys is showing up on polls I think it's just a matter of waiting it out, since I know she'll love it.

Flukemarm

Kingdom of Heaven Directors Cut! A little long but a pretty great Ridley Scott epic. Plus, Orlando Bloom!

Tiger Chu

Baby Driver?

Dooly

I’ll keep voting for Come and See until it wins, no matter how unlikely. Also partial to Watchmen, being a fan of the graphic novel, and Rear Window, Grace Kelly was a goddess as well as literal princess.

Anonymous

*For Christmas* While You Were Sleeping (Sandra Bullock) 🙏

Anonymous

Flight with Denzel Washington, I have t seen many people react to it

James M

Starship Troopers (1997) !!!

Checo Lara

My usual recommendations as always are: -True Romance -Man on Fire -Seven Samurais -Prisioners (2013) -The Dollars Trilogy/aka Man Without Name Trilogy -The suicide Squad (2021) -Oldboy (2003) -Resurrection (1999) -Nobody (2021)

Checo Lara

Please already react to "Watchmen", "Leon the Professional" and "American Psycho", so we can have a little more variety in future polls, because at these point is just annoying to continue seeing them every month, they are just stealing votes to other much better movies.

I just have one recommendation: Babe (1995) One of my favorite movies and NOBODY reacts to it.

RebRox65

I pity anyone who has to enjoyer sitting through Constantine the movie, it’s so bad even Keanu doesn’t like talking about iron chat shows and so inaccurate, the best version by far is the TV series Matt Ryan is John Constantine for my money.

Groucho Barx

requiem for a dream. aka the movie to only ever watch once and then never again

Anonymous

More often than not, mediocre movies win Vicki's polls over some real quality material. Maybe most of her members, like her, tend to prefer lighter duty fare or don't really understand quality filmmaking. Constantine, really?

TB

Come and See is one of the most life changing films on here and literally more than half of the voters have no idea what they're missing

James M

Battlestar Galactica (2003) TV Mini Series is really great SciFi. Only two 90-minute episodes!

Anonymous

I wouldn't be surprised if it's already suggested, but you being a freshly minted fan, can you react to Star Wars Visions if you're able? It'd be perfect to react to as both an anime fan as well as a Star Wars fan. Also, as a stupid slightly selfish request (and will drag the ire of anime fans), can you upload it in English dub for the public version? It greatly helps me follow along with where people are in the episode when I'm listening to them at work

Joe Mallard

21 Jump Street with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, hilarious! Rise of the Planet of the Apes and the two sequels are fantastic as well.

Bradley

I would like to recommend Robin Hood: Prince of thieves (1991), it didn’t score amazingly high with critics, but I thought it was a great film and Alan Rickman’s BAFTA winning performance was amazing (obviously!).
