HI FRIENDS

I APOLOGIZE THAT THIS WAS SO LATE... BUT I GOTS PLENTY OF STUFFS COMING YOUR WAYTO MAKE UP FOR THE LOST TIME 💝

Words cannot describe how much I adored this movie. I had NO idea it was going to be this good and HOLY MOLY has each and every single one of these characters grown on me. I laughed, I cried, I tensed up and worried. Every piece of this film had a direction and reason it was included in the movie and you can *feel* that. You guys will see just how much I adored it in the ending review because I was BLOWN AWAY.

Ahh first

Calbert

In my best Dooku voice: “I’ve been looking forward to this”. This is one of my all time favorite movies and can’t wait to watch this tonight. Thanks for your reaction!

Texas Anla'Shok

You've done it! You made it to the end! ...of Phase 1. When do we get the next one? If it's before Christmas (or at least the end of December) it'd work out perfectly.

vlocke67

you missed the mid credits scene! lol! Glad you enjoyed watching!

Andrew T

Since you commented on how great the writing was, it may be of interest that Joss Whedon, creator of Firefly, wrote the screenplay (and co-wrote the story) for The Avengers.

Anonymous

From here onwards (excluding Iron Man 3), Marvel started doing the 2 post-credits scenes, one after the stylized graphics credits and another following the traditional credits, so watch out for that.

Texas Anla'Shok

Yes, you'll have to watch out for those going forward. Some of them have multiple mid-credits, in one case as many as five including the final stinger.

Inhuman Paradox

And sadly, this was the last great screenplay he wrote. Just a downward spiral of his career until the rock bottom of Josstice League and such classic lines like "What is brunch?". Granted, he did also write Alien Resurrection, so his filmography was always a bit more hit and miss than I tend to remember.

Alton

The animated credits ended with a mid-credit scene showing the guy who sent Loki. You need to watch it before the next MCU movie.

Cameron Trail

Fun fact: Chris Evans was hiding his face in that end credits scene because he was growing out his beard for his movie Snowpiercer which by the way is a fantastic movie that is worth seeing

David RedEagle

Make sure in the future, you watch the mid and post credit scenes. Usually once the main cast and director/producer and such have been shown. Then they usually have a mid credit scene and that is usually the more important one. The end after everything is more a fun just for the fans of it all scene. But not always.

To answer your question about Cap's shield and Thor's hammer colliding. Mentioned in Cap's first movie, Howard Stark gathered all the known ore of Vibranium in the world and made a shield out of it. The known properties of the metal are that it is stronger than any metal known, lighter than steel, and absorbs ALL vibrations, which is why it bounces and ricochets all over the place without losing speed; also why bullets don't ricochet off of it but rather instantly lose their momentum and fall to the ground without putting a scratch on the shield. Additionally, and this is more comic lore than movie lore, its not a metal from Earth, originally, and it is an extremely rare metal even in space; metal made in the heart of an exploding star, under the right, and extremely rare, conditions. Thor's hammer is made from the metal at the core of a dying, collapsed star, super dense metal. These two metals colliding...well, you see the effects. It also explains why Cap wasn't hurt when the shield was hit by Thor's hammer and why Cap jumped in the air, behind the shield when the bomb went off in the bank. He is extremely safe behind that shield.

Zachary Carter

As to Erik Selvig's accent: The actor playing him is Stellan Skarsgård who is Swedish.

VProductions

Loving the Destiny 2 references! The Hive invade New York.

Also the woman who plays the waitress is Ashley Johnson, voice actress of Ellie in Last of Us.

David Crabtree

Someone needs to sit through all the credits in the future! You should always expect a mid credit scene, and post credits.

Omni Jacala

It's worth mentioning that the physics of Cap's shield are extremely inconsistent. =P Everyone and their mom has pointed this out before, but if it absorbs all vibration, then it shouldn't bounce at all. It should hit a wall and fall straight down, just like the bullets from Peggy's gun in First Avenger. And directly contradicting that, (warning: mundane spoilers) in a future movie, Cap is later seen using the shield not to stop bullets, but to actually deflect them in order to take out hostiles. So it definitely doesn't absorb all vibrations. If anything, it's somehow able to selectively absorb ALL vibrations or absorb NO vibrations depending on different circumstances. As someone once said: it doesn't obey the laws of physics at all. But y'know. Comics. =P

Lee Aguera

I can't overstate what it was like when Avengers first came out. It was incredible. The world was changed. The MCU was here to stay. Also one of my favorite lines, the old man in Germany "There are always men like you." The music is a callback to Schindler's List, a Holocaust movie, to show the old man was a Holocaust survivor and was openly comparing Loki and his plans to Hitler and the Holocaust. Which is why he refused to kneel. Its a very powerful scene.

Lee Aguera

Didn't Avengers have 2? Didn't she miss one? The one where they introduce Thanos?

Loki skipped out on some of the combat classes ( lol ) that Thor did. More of an agile / speed oriented fighter. Still plenty of skill do deal with humanity !

MotoDork

You missed the most important end credit scene. It's VERY important to know there are mid credit scenes and end credit scenes. And the mid credit scene in this film is very important. Go back and watch it and remember this for all remaining MCU films.

James M

HOORAY for Phase 1! Seems you are really enjoying it. Cannot wait to see your journey through the next phases!

LightsCameraJake

Vee I hope you read this. Some honest criticism: You need to stop skipping around the credits, just sit, be patient and let them roll because you have no idea how many end credits there are in these movies. This is the 2nd time you missed credit scenes by skipping around. A few of these films even have 3 at times and hell even 5 credit scenes at times. You will miss more if you keep skipping around the credits sections, dont do that anymore, please. Just sit through them like we all did in the theatre. Please go back and watch that mid credits scene you missed. A lot of MCU fans look forward to your reaction to these credits and so far you missed 2 important ones. This one is a big reveal. Other then that I absolutely loved this reaction and im so happy to see you fall in love with all these characters. Keep being amazing! I am looking forward to Iron Man 3! RIP, Phil Coulson.

Robert Reichle

Thor as a character just keeps getting better and better.

Oouga

Dr. Selvig is Norwegian (the actor is Swedish). Hawkeye is my favorite Avengers, followed by Captain America.

Richard Flores

Will we get any AOS between movies?

Kalle-Tapani Isomaa

You missed after credit scene which came right after the first credits (those which showed characters items). But you can react to it at beginning of next one you'll react.

Anonymous

If you haven't started Agents of Shield yet, I will add my voice to those who have suggested it. When AOS first came out, the only criteria I had was that it needed to keep me occupied (and sane) between MCU movie releases. It very quickly exceeded my expectations and I consider the series to be as good and as enjoyable as the movies (which the show actually takes into account over the years).

To answer your question on why Tony doesn't like being handed things, He doesn't like being handed things because the last time someone handed him something it was about his parents death.
