Cool horror movie concept: ✅
Classic 2000s teen horror film: ✅
Instilling new fears within Vee: ✅

I *really* liked the concept behind Final Destination and I actually watched it maybe a day before my birthday and for my birthday was taken surprise indoor skydiving so Final Destination + Flying over a giant fan = NO BUENO LOL
I was so scared and the amount of meticulous fears I have developed due to this movie is really astonishing. I think about new ways to be careful more and more now, I refuse to b e  d e f e a t e d

Also the first time for me, so I'm curious how the movie will be. 😊 90 minutes later: funny film, funny concept, not great but okay, and obviously the opposite to Back to the Future. 😂

I wish there was another week in Oct so you could do Final Destination 2...IMO its the best one. Final Destination is definitely an underrated horror film.

Man this film was just as bad as I remembered. I thought maybe I was being harsh and maybe confusing it with the billion sequels getting worse and worse. But wow is it stupid. The concept is mildly interesting but I find the execution terrible, and I don't like the superstitious god/magic thinking it relies on to string the story together, and which I think it propagates and reinforces in people. Pop culture stuff like this and the X Files and a million others play into this without really thinking about it. Too many nutters in our world actually believe in shit like this, AND they don't keep it to themselves.. instead shouting on social media or refusing to take part in well founded public health measures or claiming Antarctica is a circle of ice which stops the oceans from falling off the edge of the world or wearing special hats or blocking roads or making up too significant a minority voting bloc. cough cough. Anyway if you really did like this, you should watch the second one. It improves on this and is definitely the best of the lot so you should like it even more. But damn do I hate the nonsense this stuff plays into.
