So with this chapter, the plot thickens!! We are introduced into a band of Mandalorians, but they are a different subsection of The Mandalorians and really act like it. I have a feeling deep down not to trust them based entirely on their motivations and how they've treated our Protagonist. We also learn a bit more about Babbers and his diet (I worry that his race is the reason the frog people have such low numbers)  I have a negative feeling about these other Mandalorians but I can only be hopeful that I am wrong. Please enjoy the video friends 💓

You haven’t seen Trask before “Just get a new ship” Blasphemy! The squid face guys? Those would be Quarren. You likely haven’t heard the name before He does eat. Remember he took the helmet off to it once in season 1? So long as no one can see him. Wrong. The Armorer in season 1 was female Bo Katan is actually from Clone Wars, and played by her voice actress, Katee Sackhoff This whole Children of the Watch situation is very intriguing. There was an extremist group of mandos in Clone Wars called Death Watch, which Bo actually used to be part of, though they didn’t have the helmet rule. The mandos that rescued Din when he was a kid had the Death Watch symbol on their armor. With Watch in both names, they presumably have some connection, but Din wasn’t even aware he was part of that group. They’re real mandalorians. So is Din, just of different practice. Bo even used to rule Mandalore for god’s sake. That’s not a spoiler, she establishes the darksaber is needed to rule it and says she used to own it. You’ll see in Clone Wars that there does seem to be a mandalorian race, with similar skin tone and facial structure, but you can also be adopted into the culture. How is mandalorians killing odd to you? Din has been killing people left and right since the very first episode. And killing _imperials._ The ones who committed genocide on their people, making them nearly extinct. The ones who left their world “shattered.” And stole their beskar. They’re not evil. They’re just a bit less honorable. After what they’ve been through, they have a lot less patience for achieving their goals. Mandalorians _have_ been around for longer. She said her _armor_ was in her family for 3 generations. That specific armor hasn’t been around as long as the entire culture

Din Jarin (Mando) belongs to the remnants of the group known as the Death Watch. They are considered radicals by most of the rest of the Mandalorians. Mandalorians are best described as a Tribe. They are nomadic ever since the fall of Mandalor. Most Mandalorians are considered mercenary soldiers. In the days of the Old Republic long before the events of the films they fought with the Sith against the Jedi. However there were also times they fought for the Jedi. Most jedi though distrust and look down on the Mandalorians for their mercenary past. Their armor is resistant to lightsabers.

Killing is kinda what Mandalorians do. They show no mercy towards their enemies.

How do you know Ahsoka Tano? just wondering since I don't think you've watched the clone wars. Perhaps I'm wrong

3dbadboy1

'Mon Calamari' is the name of the race of those fish-like people. They are very good ship builders.

3dbadboy1

Bo Katan isn't necessarily 'evil'. She's just very ambitious and heir to the throne.

On another occasion, Vee has said that she knows the computer games and I assume that Ahsoka Tano appears in them. 😉

Ian

one look at your thumbnail for this one and i already knew you were going to enjoy this episode :) and baby behaved himself im shocked lol always love seeing katee sackhoff shes great , thanks vicky for the fun reaction

Well, the Mandalorians knew from the beginning about Mando and I assume they watched him all the time. Since he is one of them, they have no mercy with the people who try to harm him. The same with the empire and its remnants.

Glad you are enjoying season 2! Yes, there is a lot of background from The Clone Wars series (and even the Star Wars Rebels series), but IMO Mando Season 2 is no less enjoyable if you haven't seen it. Don't be discouraged from charging ahead! Loving your reactions to Season 2 so far!

minuteforce

Can't find to watch these when I find time. Are you gonna do "Star Wars Visions" reactions in future?

Matt Gwinn

In the movies the rebel fleet has a lot of oval shaped ships which I believe were built by the Mon Calmari.

Koska Reeves (one of the female Mandalorians) is played by professional wrestler Sasha Banks, if that's of any interest to you.

Doug Watson

I am altering the deal... I love that you caught that!

Charles

You’re missing out on so much of the lore and the politics that are being encountered as the story progresses by not having finished The Clone Wars and Rebels before watching this season.
