Hey everyone!!

So going in, no clue that there was going to be any sort of comedy and light-heartedness in The Fifth Element, it was such a pleasant surprise and made it stick out that much more to me. I honestly thought it was going to be a very serious, action movie just judging by the covers i saw; you know I love me some action-comedies so it was a fun watch and I hope you guys feel the same!!

More videos comin up SINCE I OFFICIALLY GRADUATED AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (more time for more videos aw yiss ❤)

This is what it séemed that Blade Runner was going to be like for you. Funny that you thought this one was going to be more serious than it is. Both are favs if mine.

I've loved this silly movie since I was a kid. They do not make enough totally bonkers light-hearted sci-fi like this these days. Excited to see your reaction.

Glad you liked The Fifth Element Vee, it is one of my favorite movies because Luc Besson is a great French movie director. Now you need to watch The Professional, movie in New York in the late 90s as well with French actor Jean Reno, Nathalie Portman and Gary Oldman.

Apocalypto! Heat, mannequin 2. Ready player 1 was so boring we walked out.

Jean Paul Gaultier designed the costumes for the film. And I've seen this movie probably 50 times but I finally caught that the garbage in the airport is because of a "work interruption by a rations disposal personnel" aka a garbage strike

I'm so glad you like Ruby Rhod. Some people consider him a Jar Jar Binks.

The lion's voice was NOT fake back in the day. Now, who knows? The story in the Fifth Element is really quite coherent but, surprisingly, you let a lot of keys to the plot slip by especially at the beginning by focusing on little tidbits of minutia that were essentially irrelevant. Kind of surprised me actually as you usually pick up on key elements quite quickly. Didn't focus I'm guessing. The jist of the send up got by you a bit. A little better toward the end I guess.

One of details I didn't pick up on for multiple viewings was that each stone was the embodiment of that element and needed the expression of that element to open it. Leeloo was "the perfect being", the embodiment of love, and needed the expression of love to open and create the light. The expression of Love was her and Korben's admission to each other that they love each other. The fifth element is love

Add La Femme Nikita to that! A superb Besson film! (though perhaps most don't like non-english-language films?)

One of my favourite movies! I think it can probably be summed up in one word - Creativity. This was a great reaction and I love that you like Ruby Rhod so much while he can very easily grate on most people.
