Okay, if I remember correctly (anyone, feel free to tell me I'm wrong), Bebop is a form of jazz. "Cowboy" is another name for bounty hunter in this universe. Thus, "Bounty Hunter 'Jazz'".

I had been waiting for this, it's amazing, I loved your laughing to the description of Edward from Jet and the ending, makes for a welcome change from all the feels in the previous episode. Were those Peeps, I don't think so but am sure that's where the inspiration came from, there's many little things like that throughout the series that have been inspired by real things that exist now, which is part of the charm.
