This… was a ROUGH one…. My brain is fried and I’m overwhelmed with how many things we’ve been through in this episode… and how bad they were 🥲 how is this show STILL SHOCKING ME AT EVERY TURRRRNNNNN 😭😭😭

I know the internet has scarred you Vicky, but I think everybody gets what you mean when you say you like Homelander as a character ;-) you're absolutely right, Homelander is great and Antony Starr absolutely kills it. I'm surprised to hear you say you like Hughie more this season, for me it's kind of the opposite. Yes, he was kind of spineless and annoying in the beginning and he seems to have grown more confident but I find his sudden and now constant need to protect Starlight pretty off-putting. Yes, it's sweet that he cares about her and wants her to be safe but the whole "I want to save you for once", like why? Why do you need that? To me, it comes off as patronizing and like insecure masculinity. Which I guess has kind of been an identifying trait for Hughie for a long time but it feels like he respected and admired Starlight and her power more in the first couple seasons, now he just seems bitter and resentful.

You like whoever you wanna like Vicky homelander is a fantastic villain love him or hate him he ain't boring . Kimiko is always No1 for me though she needs the best plot armour available 🙂 cracker of an episode and another fantastic time watching with ya Vicky 🙌
