I can't believe it's finally over. This finale was absolutely incredible My first time watching it, and I'm so glad we could all enjoy seeing your reaction to this amazing show. I can't wait for the next anime show (I hope it's jojos bizarre adventure because of its comedy, action, and the friends along the way.) I really hope you enjoyed this series Vii it's one of my favorite anime of all time and always gets me teared up along side you.

Information available for public disclosure: The past generations of the Nine Titans Eren, who holds the Attack, the Founding, the War Hammer, and the Beast Titans, is connected to the Founder Ymir. The Founder Ymir is connected to the Paths, and there are infinite Paths. There is no fixed time in the Paths, all kinds of time exist. And so, Titans from all time were summoned. Colossal, Armored, Female, Jaw, Beast, Cart, War Hammer, Attack, and Founding Titans. Some of them are Titans we know, others ones we have never seen. The Titan flying in the sky Unlike common cases of Titan inheritance, Falco became a Pure Titan through Zeke's spinal fluid, and then inherited the Jaw Titan. As a result, in addition to the Jaw Titan, it also developed the characteristics of the Beast Titan, and its claws and jaws took on a shape reminiscent of the beak and claws of a bird of prey. Its biggest feature is the huge wings that grow on both arms. Its huge wings, which can reach a total length of 30 meters when its arms are spread out, have the power to lift its giant body into the sky by flapping them. The Doomsday Titan - Colossal Titan Ver. A Doomsday Titan whose user turned into a Titan after losing most of the Doomsday's body. Since it is the same size as a Colossal Titan and has the same head as the Doomsday Titan, it is thought that it has at least the abilities possessed by the Attack Titan. Even after losing the body, the royal blood, and the Rumbling, it still keeps going. Even if what lies ahead is hell. A world without Titans Even if the Titans disappear, the fear will not. Even if the number of people decreases, conflicts will not. Still, someone must wish for it someday. There should be a world where we can join hands with each other. There should be a future where we can respect and talk to each other. That future is just around the corner. It's been a pleasure to be the guy that posts these trivia with the episodes.

Love you V, Thank you so much for letting us experience this journey through you :)

Akash Chaudhry

absolutely LOVED seeing you experience this story!

Akash Chaudhry

also fun fact: it's mikasa and erens' voice actors singing during the ending song

Barjee

It's been one hell of a rollercoaster, i've now watched it through 3 times and still pick up on things that i missed or maybe didn't understand, i also still cry at all the sad parts EVERY time XD thank you V

Joe Blankenship

I probably would've never watched this show if you hadn't started it. Never been that deep into anime, but this is easily one of the best I've ever seen. When you were still on season 2, I went ahead and watched it to the end, then jumped back and watched them again. It ended up pretty much how I expected it to. I didn't see any other ending than a big Mikasa slice. But I'm glad we ended up with most of our favorite characters still around. And that timelapse bit on the credits, I noticed that those people visiting Eren's grave must have been Mikasa's kids and grandkids, so she got to live a good long life and multiplied.

Tom

Such a good show! This ending always gets to me. If you want another amazing anime with an amazing story - give Vinland Saga a watch next! Trust me!

Christopher

If you rewatch the end credits again, Mikasa does move on and have a husband and family and generations of grandkids, but her love for Eren never left and when she died later in life, she was buried next to Eren.

Drift3r

Wow, it's been a journey. First, thank you for the great and honest reaction. Don’t feel bad about giving a true reaction to great, or even bad, content because that’s why we all watch. We want to see your genuine reaction. Tears and snot included…😛 Now one thing I liked about the ending, which is subtle and easily overlooked, is how Armin took credit for killing Eren when he was attempting to stop the surviving Marleyans from shooting the surviving Eldians. Why? Because it ensured Mikasa would never be bothered about her role in this affair. In short, Armin gave Mikasa the gift of anonymity so that she could bury, and grieve for, Eren in peace. So she could live her life in peace as Eren always wanted. Also the sequence where Armin is talking to Eren at the end all occurred back when Armin was on the boat. It happened for the brief instance before he started to talk to Annie. Armin didn’t remember it because Eren erased his memory after it occurred. It was only at the end, after Eren was killed, that Armin was able to regain that memory. Eren did the same for the others and then wiped their memories of it only to allow them to regain their recollection of what he said to them after his death. I guess you could say it was his way of saying goodbye because he knew what was about to happen. He knew it from the moment he kissed Historia’s hand. Imagine that, knowing everything that we saw transpire was going to happen in one form or another and you could not stop it. That explains the big shift in his character, not because he was a moody teenager as Levi once implied, from the earlier seasons. As for the overall ending. Well I think there was no choice for it to end in any other way. Had Hajime Isayama given us a, “And they all lived happily ever after” ending it would not make sense. Frankly it would have been an insult to the audience. Especially given the narrative he was laying out about human nature with regards to what drives people and how you can’t control much in life outside of how you react. In other words, we get Kenny's last words, "Everyone has to spend their life drunk on something else they wouldn't have a reason to keep pushing on. Everyone is a slave to something" being reinforced with regards to Eren's motives chaining him to this outcome. Hint: Now I have zero clue if there will be another AoT continuation/spinoff series but given the very last scene for the show with the boy and his dog do yourself a favor and go to 36:38, or 36:39, (on cruncyroll) in this episode and pause it. Makes you think doesn’t it?

Jonah Bertorelli

I'm prepared to cry with ya. I don't know if you'll like it. but I loved the ending and this has earned the title as the only show that I'll compare it's ending to that of breaking bad. for better or for worse it ended how it needed to, not how we wanted it to.

Jonah Bertorelli

did you just call Grisha Jeager's attack titan "santa"? lol

Max

Ive witnessed great shows, stuff thats made me happy, sad, shows that I've considered the best there ever was. But NEVER has anything impacted me the same as this show did. Cant say ill ever forget it

Jonah Bertorelli

thank you for going on this journey with us <3

ningsplushie

okay first of all its completely normal that you are feeling overwhelmed. it really is a lot. rewatching and reading analysis posts really helped me form my opinion on this incredible complex story. personally i think this was the perfect ending to attack on titan and i dont think any other ending would have made sense. i want to talk about eren, armin and mikasa and their roles in conveying this storys message. all three of them represent aots main themes: eren is the forest. he embodies the endless cycle of hatred and violence. no matter the circumstances, he keeps moving forward and fighting. thats just who he is. mikasa represent beauty in a cruel world. throughout the story she fights for and protects the beautiful things in life. armin represents the “insignificant” things in life. he appreciates the small things, the things that bring you joy, and carries hope for a better future. eren had been doomed from the very beginning of the story, only that neither us nor eren knew that. and he wasnt doomed because of fate or anything like that, but because of everyones choices, made because of the things they are enslaved to. everyone wanted something in life and made choices bases on that. eren was bored when he lived a simple life inside the walls. he didnt have any dreams to fight for. but then armin showed up with his book and while talking about the free world outside he had that look in his eyes, and eren too wanted a dream that he could use to motivate himself. thats when gained his reason to fight: he realised he wasnt free and wanted to fight for freedom. anyone who took away someone elses freedom was a monster to him. his mom getting eaten amplified his anger at said monsters, in this case the titans. reaching the basement and seeing the future after kissing historias hand is what shattered his worldview: he learned that the “freedom” he had been fighting for didnt exist and the world actually was full of people who wanted his people dead. he lost hope, became depressed and began distancing himself. when him and the crew came to marley, that was when his worldview was shattered again: this time he learned that the people outside werent actually all bad. they were humans just like everyone else he knew. the things he was going to do werent justified, he was going to become just like the kind of monster that he has always hated, the ones that take away other peoples freedom. his self-hatred peaks here, he breaks down and asks mikasa why she cares sm bc he 1. cannot fathom how she could love someone like him and 2. wants a way out. but the future doesnt change because mikasa wants to keep the beauty in her life. eren is the most beautiful thing to her, because in a moment when she thought of the world as nothing more than a cold and cruel place he showed her how to fight, gave her a home, comfort and warmth (the scarf). she doesnt confess because she is scared of losing him (not knowing that this is what would made her loose him). and eren is a slave to freedom. so even though he hates himself for what he will do he cant stop himself from wanting it because he cant let go of his childish illusion of freedom. which is why he reverts back to a child during his scene above the clouds because he in order to enjoy this “freedom”, his childhood dream, has to completely dissociate from the reality of what he is doing. ultimately eren dying and mikasa and armin surviving is important for the storys message. eren, who symbolises the cycle of hatred and violence is killed and mikasa and armin who symbolise beauty and hope survive. mikasa killed eren because she knows that sometimes one death can save many lives and because eren showing the alternative timeline made her understand his pain and she wanted to set him free of that. her love was her strength. through this sacrifice she was able to give ymir the strength to let go of her love and end the titan curse. armin continued to have hope for a better future and became a peace ambassador and mikasa finally got to live the peaceful live she had always wanted. the rumbling allowed erens friends to live out the rest of their lives. conflict, however, never ceases to exist and so several thousand years in the future their island gets bombed and destroyed. but life continues to multiply. history always repeats itself. aot ends with a boy and his dog finding erens tree which now looks like ymirs tree did. many think that means that the titans will come back, however that is very unlikely. the titan curse was created because ymir was suffering and wanted strength and connection. she was chased by people and dogs when she found the tree but the boy had found it while exploring alongside his dog. he doesnt seem like he would have any reason to wish for something as tragic as ymir did. so now its on us: we need to have hope that this is a better future and the hatred doesnt continue. also: - the ending song was partially sung by mikasas and erens voice actors - in the first manga chapter eren sees mikasa saying “see you later eren” and then wakes up from his dream. he asks mikasa when her hair has gotten so long (the last time he sees her before death her hair is short) and then he cries but he cant remember what he dreamed of that made him cry. theres also a cross on the tree that is seen when eren gets up from where he was sitting. this page is the only numbered one in the entire manga series and the number is 13. that is the life span of a titan shifter and 13 years later we see mikasa sitting next to erens grave, which is where eren sat in the beginning of the story. absolutely insane

Vee, Please read the comment I will post later or tomorrow 🙏😊. I think your heart will be "more whole" after reading people's comments and what I will post. I watched making notes and was already paying attention to some subtexts and symbolisms I noticed during this journey. But FIRST, I need, and I want to say to you: I watched the entire show for the first time with you, and I share the feeling of not wanting to end it and, at the same time, wanting to know the conclusion. I got emotional, had fun, and got frustrated every time "be continued..." appeared; I felt happiness, sadness, excitement... You truly were not alone, even in the emotions that I and others shared with you. 🥰 I won't forget this series, either. I hadn't seen an anime in years, and if I hadn't chosen YOU here on Patreon, I would never have seen this anime! Thank you! Vee, I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to not watch alone and to have had your company on this journey. We "gave our hearts" to the series. And worth it. 💖💖💖 If you don't notice, your tears dropped in the cape of the Scouts🥹. Keep it with affection with the pendant of the wings of freedom. 😊 I also watch films and other series with you, and your company makes everything better!😄 So yes, I'll see you in the next video! 😊 Again, please read the comment I will post later or tomorrow 🙏🙏🙏

Skellyp

And everyone got to live long, full lives. When mikasa dies, she’s an old lady

Skellyp

Another fun fact. The opening scene of the first special, opens with mikasa saying “see you later” and in the manga, that scene takes place at the very start of the story, right before eren wakes up from his “long dream”. It’s the “see you later” scene, then black, then eren wakes up at the start of the story. implying erens memories are sent back to him at the start as he dies, and the last moment he experiences is the kiss from mikasa, before he unknowingly relives the same unchangeable story over and over. At least, I guess that’s a theory.

Skellyp

Also, the vision mikasa saw, is what they would have done if she confessed to eren when he asked her, but she never does, just like he sees in his memories. This is the last time he puts his memories to the test of reality, and if anything can change, before he commits to rumbling.

Eric Barnett

At first I was confused by a lot about this ending, although I did think it was fitting after I rewatched. The outcome that brought about the end of the Power of the Titans was Mikasa kissing Eren after killing him. Ymir witnessed this and it enabled her to move on from her love for Fritz and finally be at peace. She couldn't let go of her love for him in the same way that Mikasa was never able to let go of her love for Eren until the very end. Ymir witnessed this, thus it was Mikasa who eventually freed Ymir and ended the Power of the Titans. Eren mentioned not knowing what Mikasa did, as he wasn't able to see the future after his death, so he never saw her kiss him. But he DID know that something Mikasa did after his death was the outcome he was also moving forward to reach.

Eric Barnett

It's still a very tragic ending, I would have loved a peaceful ending, but I do think it was very fitting for the show and the characters. You can also see in the end credits scenes it appears Mikasa did eventually fall in love and have children, but she never removed the scarf or forgot Eren and was eventually buried near him it seems. Beautiful tragedy.

Daniel Almeida

ningsplushie, I would like to share a "technical thing" with you and make a comment. Many beings have emotions. Feelings are almost exclusively human, as they are a complex process of interpretation based on and most often shaped by our beliefs and values, roughly speaking. Hatred, specifically, is an exclusively human feeling due to its complexity, mainly because it goes through the process of rationalization. Instead of hate, I would say anger, which is an emotion that fits well with your line of thinking and Eren's personality (in my opinion). 🙂 I made a post, but I'm going to make another, and one of the things I will say will be about Mikasa. I agree with your interpretation of Mikasa, taking into consideration your perspective. 🙂 Looking from another angle, we can understand that Mikasa represents inner struggle, will, and courage. In my next post, this will become clearer. I haven't read the manga, so I'm limited to what is shown in the anime. I really liked your opinion and that you shared it with us! And thanks for the infos! 😄

Javier Ruiz-Leon Jr.

It's almost serial to me that this anime came to an end, and a huge part of me wish it would continue. Regardless, Isayama truly made something that people decades from now will continue to show future generations time and time again. To me, I think is not just the greatest anime ever made, not just one of the greatest manga ever made, or even one of the greatest shows ever made, but rather one of the greatest stories ever told! Thank you, Hajime Isayama

2024-04-12 03:17:25 As someone who never got into AOT (tried for like 5, 6 episodes but wasn't for me), do you know what comes next for your channel? Don't hate me in the comments but I've been kinda impatiently waiting for V to end this series so maybe I could enjoy the next thing 🙃

2024-04-12 03:17:25 Okay? Super helpful comment, Michael. I could have gone into detail with my criticisms of the show but obviously I didn't do that because that wasn't the point, I'm not here to shit on anyone's parade, you never had the experience of not liking something a lot of other people did? My only question was about scheduling and if you don't know anymore about that than I do, why not keep the sarcasm to yourself?

Spoilers in this comment for anyone who hasn't watched this episode- contains info on manga changes, and sad facts about the episode. As far as I know, people hated the manga because they wanted a 'fairytale' ending, but got the realistic one. War will always be there, and it's such a tough thing to swallow. Also, the dialogue during Eren and Armin's last conversation was seen as too casual, with Armin being too quick to thank Eren for committing genocide. This episode fleshes that conversation out slightly, and emphasises more the gravity of what Eren has done. However, having experienced both anime and manga, I truly believe the ending is EXCEPTIONAL. 'Fans' made the writer Isayama feel awful about it, when he created the ultimate peak fiction; some anime 'fans' are ruthless, and cruel at times. I'm so glad you enjoyed the series, though, sorry for how emotionally impactful it was... I can't believe you've finished it! My favourite show of all time, always. No other fiction has brought such emotion out of me; I'll always feel connected to the characters because as you say, they feel so real. Armin will always be my favourite, and here's a sad fact for you: in the end credits, after Mikasa dies, you can see Armin as an old man visiting. He always was last in the race to the tree. 🥲 I just knew when Erwin showed up, it'd get you. There were SO many tears, and I felt so bad. 😭 When you realised about Mikasa's death, you literally threw the tissue down from sadness... It's been fantastic watching your reactions, hearing your opinions, delving into many discussions of ethics, and seeing your opinions on certain characters develop. If you do rewatch, you'll notice that everything was planned from the beginning- the foreshadowing is unbelievable. It's been a while since this came out, and I haven't recovered. This series means so much to me that I wrote my undergraduate university thesis on its representation of trauma. Finally, fans say this: the story is Mikasa's, through the lens of Eren, and told by Armin. See you on the next reaction (probs Better Call Saul, as that's another of my all-time favourite shows)! It's been a wonderful, and horrifying journey lol.

MenuMitch

Vee, first off, great reaction and it's an incredible feeling to go on these journeys with you and the community. Second, all we want is for you to be yourself in these videos, you don't need to potray anything else. First time seeing the ending for me, it was beautiful and horrible all at the same time. I am devastated that after moving on and having a family Mikasa kept the scarf and memories of Eren and took them to the grave. I gained so much respect for Armin in these later episodes he really steps into Erwins boots and the way he becomes the hero who killed the attack titan was so selfless. My heart is broken for Mikasa and Eren who never got peace together and never told each other what they meant to one another, it's not fair. And I just don't know how to feel about the end credits showing that none of it mattered, humanity blew itself up and found the power of titans again. It's a strange feeling because it mattered to me lol.

Mikasa died of old age tho

I remember when I watched the ending of the show. I definitely needed a minute to come to terms how it had ended. I thought it was a good ending, bittersweet but good. Thank you so much for your reaction! What a roller coaster it has been!

David Caine

She lived the long life Eren wanted her to live, the live for which he sacrificed most of the world. Maybe she found someone else, maybe not, maybe she did create another family after. Jean definitely did I bet, though I am not sure about some fans' theories that he got it on with Mikasa. Armin and Annie definitely got together I bet, should have suspected that after season 1, it's satisfying to think about after all the set up in this last season.

David Caine

Manga reader here. Absolutely awesome reaction V, you felt it in your soul, I knew it was gonna be that emotional and break you quite a bit, that it was gonna be overwhelming. And that aside, I was more interested in your thoughts of the resolution of this great series. I was taken aback when the manga finished and at least a good half of the readers hated it, it seemed like more than that, but really some of them were very vocal. A lot of it was exaggerated, some of it was funny. Memes were born: Bird Eren, At least 10 years, What a Man you are, Eren! Some of it from poor translations, some of it because of legitimate criticisms with the execution of the finale. The plot was what I expected in the end, even better in the way it became so insane and it all came around, though when Connie and Jean turned into Titans I finally thought Eren had not one iota of redemption coming. Only a couple of reactors I saw guessed that Ymir loved Fritz when she took that spear for him despite everything, and that reveal turned off a lot of people, saying it came out of left field. The clues were there, it was obvious that Ymir wanted to experience love and connection, but instead there is the Stockholm syndrome kind of sick servitude mistaken for what is real love. IF Isayama had made it more obvious, nobody would have complained, especially in comparing that with the sick attachment Mikasa has to Eren, which Eren himself pointed out in the "I've always hated you" scene. The plot points were there, and Mikasa kills Eren out of compassionate love, to let him go and release him, a parallel to Erwin and Levi's choice, instead of what Ymir does saving Fritz by dying to get away from her sick attachment. Ymir experiences Mikasa's feelings and experience, and is released herself through it. All the parallels were there, and the ending detractors who said things came out of left field missed the themes, and those who did notice just did not like the writing. Again, they wanted things their own way, and called what was given "bad." They even complained about Annie eating pie, for fuck's sake, instead of humor they wanted confrontation in that scene. Don't blame them, but that is nitpicking shit. Eren killed the world to save his friends. He dammed himself for them. They did not him to damn himself , they did not want to commit genocide, and some manga readers issue with the "Alliance" and called them hypocrites. It's a bit of Breaking Bad, rooting for the corrupted protagonist/antagonist/antihero and the power trip of them getting away with it. Many wanted Eren to succeed and destroy the whole world and even turn on his friends, and their preferred outcomes and their various plot points did not manifest, so they complained. The clues were there since episode 6 of season 1, and other clues throughout that Eren would turn out this way. The clues were there that he was setting them up to be the heroes that stopped them, with the Tybur/ Helios story from before. But even I gave up on that theory and was fooled into thinking Eren was beyond corruption. In actuality, Eren goes through with his genocide plan to eradicate Titans from the world, by detaching from the parasite and dying, while giving his friends all the credit of defeating him and saving Paradis from overwhelming numbers of enemies and militaries. And one thing that remains overlooked, Ymir was trapped in that world of the paths, 2000 years of an infinity for her, in a literal HELL. She would have stayed there forever had Eren not gotten through and convinced her to side with him by understanding her suffering. Eren released a soul from Hell by sacrificing the whole world. Is that a sacrifice worth making? Of ALL the characters on Attack on Titan, Ymir is the one that had it worst. In the manga, Armin thanks Eren for becoming a murderer. Maybe it was translation issues, or a lack of clarity on the writing to convey the themes, as Isayama himself said. Armin throughout the show said that you have to lose your humanity to bring about the change you seek, you have to become a monster, like Erwin did with his guilt, from which Levi released him. The scene is really Armin is thanking Eren for sacrificing his humanity, becoming a monster, for his friends' sake. Detractors rightfully criticize how that scene comes across in the manga, because it appears that Armin does not condemn Eren for genocide. But Armin can't condemn Eren, because Armin himself slaughtered hundreds, if not thousands and people miss that fact, or perhaps the writing should have conveyed it better. That is why Isayama rewrote that last scene between Armin and Eren here in the anime, Armin does condemn him, but he also acknowledges that it is now him and Eren who will suffer in Hell if there is an afterlife. I do love the way Isayama rewrote this scene and a couple of others by adding things. People also were upset in the manga that Paradis goes on to be destroyed eventually in the distant future. Again, they forget that the show was about human nature, not just about giant cannibalistic humanoids, Erwin himself said, "Humanity will never stop fighting itself.. until it shrinks to a size of one or fewer.”

Jonah Bertorelli

I'm not gonna lie, I shed a tear when you finally admitted you felt they did right by saving Armin over Erwin. Thank you for finally saying that, I know it was hard for you to even say out lout but I felt like you still held it against Armin who clearly felt that Erwin should have been saved over himself this whole time. lol so thank you for clearing it up <3

LFilipe Borges

That was an amazing journey. Glad to have experienced it again with your reactions!

Kel

I put watching this off for a few days myself because I didn’t want our journey to end. I’m really going to miss this with you. If you have the time, I do highly recommend rewatching because this show is actually so much better on a rewatch. You won’t believe all the clues we were given about things that we totally missed first time through. I’m going in now. Here’s to one last journey together!

Kel

I’m glad you shared all your thoughts and feelings with us at the end! And never apologize for just being yourself. 😊 Or for crying a lot haha. I cried along with you even though I’ve seen this finale so many times. The emotions never really go away. I went into it with the same fears and predictions you did—We were going to lose Reiner, Levi, and probably Jean. All I wanted was for Levi and Jean to make it out alive because I felt like Reiner had been wanting to die for so long that he would finally find his peace in that. But I’m just so so happy he got to live a normal, happy life after all of his suffering!! And I thought the same thing you did in that moment, that Levi had died. What a rollercoaster. It was totally worth it to subscribe to Patreon for this, I enjoyed every moment with you (even when we disagreed at times). In the end we were of the same mind. Thanks for taking this journey with us! And one last time, dedicate your heart!

Kel

As someone whose favorite show is AOT, I admit I can totally understand how you never got into it having only watched a handful of episodes. I never would’ve imagined, even after finishing the entire first season, that it could be so epic. I know you probably won’t but I encourage you to try again someday because it’s a masterpiece of writing and plot twists. You don’t really realize that until later in the series and then it blows your mind. But to each his own, and I hope you enjoy whatever she decides to watch next!

2024-04-12 03:17:25 NOW that you understand the beauty and futility of life, love, conflict, suffering, time, the cycle, choices, and memory; now that you're broken (seeing life differently), lol. Now you need to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion...BUT, lol, as a break from really deep stuff, I recommend Castlevania or DOTA: Dragon's Blood next.

THAT BREAKS MY HEART SO MUCH MORE AAAAAAAAA I think of this show every single day even though it's been a little while since finishing it, and it left some emptiness in my heart. This just made it worse LOL (but in a cute way...? is that a thing)

vkunia

:')))) Thank you for being here Akash ❤️ I'm so grateful I had you guys here to help me through it, and experience it with me. ❤️

vkunia

IT REALLY HAS BEEN... Going in I would never have expected to become so drawn in and gotten so attached to every. single. character. and the story/events. I adored this show and will DEFINITELY be rewatching it on my own time (and probably crying during the sad parts along with you too LOL)

vkunia

Joe, this comment has stuck with me. It really means a lot to know I could be a reason that you took a chance on a show, or new experience. It makes me so happy to hear I could bring that to you so thank you for being open minded and giving it a shot. :')) That really struck a chord with me And I see... So she did spend her time with Eren, as he wished - but lived her life, and never forgot about him. That's so bittersweet.. When he confessed at the end... that shattered me:( I proceeded to go down a massive rabbit hole after seeing the last episode (and taking a day to calm down) and apparently people think it was Jean who was with her, became her husband and would visit Eren's resting place with their children. :') people argue it, but I think if it should've been anyone, it would be him!! What do you think?

vkunia

I've heard so many recommendations for the Vinland Saga as well!! Is it going to mess me up as bad as AoT? Should I invest in a tissue box subscription? LOL

vkunia

So about a day after finishing the show, I couldn't get it out of my head so I started looking up EVERYTHING AoT related - especially the ending (I needed closure LOL) and I saw that and it really tore me up. It turned out that she stuck by him for a bit, but then proceeded to live her life and never forget him, even bringing hubby and kids to Eren's final resting place. I don't know which idea shattered me more. But just know I was crying reading that too 🥲

vkunia

🥲 This message made me so happy to read. I've appreciated your comments and loved hearing your insight for each eppy ❤️ Thank you for taking a chance on me and experiencing this amazing adventure with me. I felt like everyone here was with me the entire time - through each episode and it makes me feel like I have you, as well as everyone else in a close community thanks to all of these shared experiences. I loved hearing your input and a lot of times would make me look at moments/situations differently. So thank you for that, and for helping make this experience that much better. 😊❤️ Is there any show you'd recommend I'd check out next??? :') Thank you so much Kel (I noticed you shortened your name so I'm gonna move forward with calling you Kel, is that oki?? LOL)

vkunia

:') Thank you Kel!!! I didn't want it to end either... but at least we got through it together 🤍 Dedicate your heart 💚🤍

vkunia

Thank you for being here LFilipe 🤍 this experience has definitely changed me and I'm so happy I got to watch it with you:)

vkunia

Of course :) It's a bit difficult at times to share what I'm thinking/feeling because it's so much all at once. It's quite overwhelming to try and share every idea/opinion (it's different when you're thinking it vs saying it and sometimes just forget to open your mouth and say it LOL) Not to mention so many things occurring would often change my train of thought rather quickly so I would lose the opportunity to share certain things - one being Armin being the right decision. But I've felt that for quite some time. I just wasn't able to say it with everything else going on LOL This show has a way of making you feel as well as have a pretty strong opinion, only to make you change it several times over throughout the series. It was an amazing experience

vkunia

Ohhh I see. I figured the story was saying that no matter what the situation, or what happened - Eren would have always chosen this path! So if Mikasa confessed, it would have changed the entire outcome of the show. I really figured it was just her trying to comfort herself with the idea right before... you know 😥

vkunia

This blows my MIND HUHHHH I noticed the opening scene and the significance, but I had no idea that was a theory for that moment... That actually breaks my heart. AoT really has a way of confusing you, but writing every. single. detail. out so beautifully. I feel like you could watch this show over and over again and always discover new moments and details. This show was masterfully done. It deserves EVERY ounce of praise it gets. ❤️ Thank you for the info Skelly:')

vkunia

I completely agree with you Max. ❤️ I feel the same exactly way.

vkunia

YES. THATS THE ONLY SHOW I BELIEVE HIT ME EVEN REMOTELY THE SAME!!! I AGREE omg I was always thinking it but it was a completely different show so I never *SAID* it but I'm so glad we're on the same page!!! I'm so happy I'm not alone in thinking that or feeling that way:')

Skellyp

No problem! I’ve seen it over 10 time’s probably with rewatches and watching reactions, maybe more, and I still learn new stuff. It’s actually crazy.

vkunia

No thank YOU Jonah for being on this journey with me. I truly didn't feel alone, not even for a second while watching this show with you guys. I don't know how to describe it but knowing we would be experiencing the same emotions, events, etc made it feel like I wasn't alone. And because of that it enhanced my experience that much more :'))) I'm so happy, and grateful I was able to share this with you. It means more to me than you know ❤️

vkunia

Thank you so incredibly much Daniel. 🥲 it means so much to me, and really warms my heart knowing you took a chance on this show because of me. It makes me so happy knowing we were able to share all of those emotions and experience every event, thought, up and down together. It truly felt as if I wasn't alone and although I didn't want it to end, I wouldn't have had it any other way. Thank you for being vulnerable with your feelings and going through this along with me. Thank you for taking a chance on me :') I'm so happy I was able to provide you with an experience you wouldn't normally have chosen, and hopefully it is a show that you will never forget. ❤️ I know I won't

Tom

Lol yes to both questions but honestly it's such an amazing and epic story it's so worth it. Lot of life lessons. And I believe there's going to be a 3rd season. And if you loved AOT I really think you'll enjoy that anime a ton as well

Codeserk

Thank you V, it was an honor.

Jonah Bertorelli

You're the reason I even gave AOT a chance, because you were half way through and I kept seeing them pop up. Finally I gave in and tried it, I ended up finishing it before you because I couldn't wait, and have since then watched it through a couple times with other reactors as well and it's earned a place in my heart. If it wasn't for you watching it, I would have never found it and gave it a shot! <3

Jonah Bertorelli

100% they are both powerful, realistic (to the tone of the show), sad, and emotional endings. with some tragedy, some love, some resolution, some redemption, but not a fairy tale. A conclusion that makes you think!

Zarayut Ziri

I was an anime bias before cause I already watch many super good tv shows before like GOT ss1-6, westworld ss1 or something like that, but when I open my hearth again for anime, this AoT get me! I put it to my 1st show of mine, 2rd is Breakingbad and BCS, cause point of this anime and meaning of it is very huge and great point to me at ethic politic or realistic critical way and meaning of life, at the first watch, I also hate Eren, he anoying, but after continue with a story till the end, I realize something. I anoying him, cause my personality similary to him so much. I always thinking as the same as Eren way, and If I were Eren I will destroy another civillization to destroy a hate history. After that I don't care about politic or my nation will war against each other, I just want people I love and care have a long lives.

Zarayut Ziri

neon genesis is good but complicated, it's not a new anime in this era. the writter not explain clearly like AOT do. but Evagelion also my top anime but need to extract it from source hahha.

Kel

I’m currently 13 episodes into Vinland Saga. It took awhile to get going in my opinion. It wasn’t boring or anything, just didn’t quite pull me in right away? Now I’m much more invested and I’ve heard season 2 is incredible so if you watch that, we can do it together!

Kel

Haha you can call me Kel or Kellie, whichever you prefer. 😊 I want to thank you for helping change my perspective on some things as well, like Ymir and Historia. You helped me appreciate both characters so much more than I ever had and I’m grateful for that. Now I can’t wait to take the ATLA journey with you!!!

Tom

100% agreed - without any spoilers... much of the first season is a foundation for what's to come. There were points in time where I was wondering the direction of the show in S1 and i felt the same where I wasn't fully invested. Now that I'm done with S2 I appreciate S1 so much more. It is such an amazing story, the animation is beautiful, voice acting is done so well. However I also know it's not as popular of an anime as some of the more frequently suggested ones. But anyone who watches it through S2 will have a huge love for the show in my opinion

Tom

Lol did you lookup who the hubby apparently is? I only watched the anime as well but read some stuff apparently from the manga

Joe Blankenship

I would've liked a couple episodes that focused on Mikasa and fleshed out her character a little more. Like, we know she's a beast with the blades and she has to protect Eren, but what else? Did her and Jean have a thing going on? Woulda been nice to see it. And maybe see Mikasa loosen up a little.
