Jean's character develop is good but the character with the best character development is by far 👑KING FLOCH👑!!! ALL HAIL 👑KING FLOCH👑 ! ALL HAIL THE ELDIAN RESTORATION MOVEMENT !! I always thought all Floch needed was a nice fedora hat to round out the whole package. I loathed Floch, like most, but not as much as most, because as you pointed out, he's had quite the character development from the coward that did not want to go out to battle, at least I respect he is the only one that is NOT an idealist, he just calls it out as it is, he is the most realistic, even more than Levi because Levi thought Eren was not a monster but hope, while Floch fully embraces the evil that Eren is going to unleash in order for Paradis to survive. Everyone else is still holding on to maybes, hopefullys, to their dreams, to their delusions that everything is gonna turn out fine if we hold hands and sing Kumbaya.

V, you wonder what would Erwin say with everything going on? Pixis asked him back in episode 43, before going into battle..... "I once heard a song that humans will someday stop fighting, but when will that be?" Erwin says, "Humans will continue to fight one another until the day there's one human or less..." Pixis laughs, "I was hoping for a better answer than some bleak hyperbole." Levi still had hope in Eren. Hange still had hope people would understand one another.. Erwin would not have gone along with the genocide either.
