Always interesting to see what characters are thinking during certain moments of the story. And as always, the angst of family is wonderful haha 😄 though, Irus need not feel so alone in that last sentence; it could be argued we are the child of the woman who was the catalyst for his father starting the war 😅 thanks for writing!

Thank you! A lot of the times, the characters don't like burdening the MC with their fears/worries because they know the MC has a lot going on but come Chapter 9, they're going to start being more forthcoming with their feelings/thoughts 👀
