Honestly I don't get why you get frustrated that they don't trust her feelings. You have to get into their shoes. Of course they are very hesitant to trust Starbuck. I mean, they literally saw her ship blow up, there is video footage of it, in their whole human history, what has died and come back? Cylons. Not only did she come back, but she came back with a brand new, shiny ship, without a scratch, how could that have happened? Cylons. What other logical explanation is there for that situation, for them, at that moment, knowing what they know? Other than she is probably a Cylon? Not only that, but she doesn't have the data, a map or a way to prove she found Earth. Just her feelings, the feelings of what they think is probably a Cylon. I would have been frustrated if they just trusted her right away 😂 😂

I’m frustrated more so that they’re just jumping and they don’t really have a plan as to where to go. Kara at least has a plan, or something to go off of. Regardless, if she’s a cylon or a cylon agent, and they don’t trust her where the hell are they deciding to go? Also, I’m annoyed because we’re following the presidents visions that she had back in season one and season two when she was tripping on drugs but they can’t just jump back to the nebula and check? Kara believed Roslin but Roslin won’t believe Kara? I think I’m mostly sick and tired of Starbuck getting the shit end of the stick like chief used to.

As an objective observer of the show, of course I'm on Starbucks side. If this were real life, and someone I knew started talking about their visions? Eeeeh, I'd be skeptical. And the same goes for Rosalyn's visions (I'm an equal opportunity discriminator against acting on visions 🤪 ) Gaius' head Gaius was awesome! What was even better is that Gaius is so used to talking to imaginary people that he just went with it!

The original story was something Ronald D. Moore said during the Battlestar podcast - I think around season 2 he just started doing watch-alongs for every episode of BSG with the occasional guest appearing with him, think of it as the early version of a full length reaction video. All you had to do was download the podcast on Sunday and sync it to your episode. I think Universal ended up just using these for the DVD commentaries. Anyways, who’s to say it’s the truth? IF the model in Maelstrom is made from the same prop master as the one in Six of One, I wonder why the Maelstrom one is way more detailed than the other one.
