Not sure if you noticed, but Zuko’s scar is actually on the wrong side for a very brief moment when facing the dragons! When Zuko and Aang are stood in the colourful fire, you see it very briefly. Check it out if you get a second!

Zuko here 👋 there's a great video out there that analyzes how the music and motifs mirror the character arcs of Aang and Zuko. Also, I love that anytime Aang is paired up with either Sokka or Zuko he turns into the worlds biggest goober, haha

I've been waiting for the Dragon temple episode since the beginning. Truly the heart of this show is the relationship between Aang and Zuko. And Zuko I would argue is the real star of the show. Aang may be the main character, but this is really the story about Zuko finding himself. You mentioned taking a break before Kora, is that like a week long break like last time, or are you gonna watch something else for a little bit and then go back? Keep up the great work gal!

So much amazing character development in Firebending Masters it is absolutely amazing, however the best part about the episode is Uncle Iroh being the MVP of the episode and not even being on screen haha

I love how The Firebending Masters shows so clearly why Jeong Jeong was not the right master for Aang to teach him fire-bending. It wasn't just an issue of the timing, but because Jeong Jeong only talked about fire as a force of destruction. At the beginning, Zuko starts in a similar way and Aang can't firebend because he doesn't want to be destructive, a lesson he internalized after hurting Katara. But when he learns from the dragons, he realizes that fire is also energy and life which allows him to begin firebending. Its a good way of showing what Aang values and such a good reflection of why having a good mentor is important.
