Lets be honest, this is the best kind of therapy. On that topic, I inherited my Dad's short temper. When I was old enough to identify it as a bad habit have CONSTANTLY worked on it. So when someone is a bad driver for instance, I have to tell myself no matter how mad I get that they will be a bad driver tomorrow. There are a lot of things you really just have to let slide off your back. Easy to say, very hard to do.

“I am still very much trying to find the love and kindness in my heart to be empathetic to Nate and his situation.” I love this so much. It’s not that I have some overwhelming fondness for Nate or anything like that. It’s because I think this is the whole point of the show —trying to be kinder, more honest, more empathetic and, frankly, better than we thought we could be. Of course, it’s not that I thought you weren’t already pretty damn good (anyone who recognizes Digable Planets without prompting is already pretty damn awesome in my book) but that we can all be better. It’s not just the show’s message. It’s the impact it’s leaving on the people who watch it. I know it has with me. Actually, that would be interesting to know. “Has this show changed you in any way large or small?” Maybe and maybe not…but interesting.

ZAVA ' S ELDEST SON ! Since I found out I've been meaning to post this little tidbit about Zava's son, reached a certain age, and having been allowed to pick his own name: Smigus-dyngus. Śmigus-dyngus is a real thing, an originally pagan now Catholic, Easter Monday celebration held in Poland and many parts of central and eastern Europe. It involves some variation of boys drenching girls with water. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%9Amigus-dyngus Maxi Osinski who plays Zava apparently speaks some Polish.
