I have been waiting to see your reaction to the scene after the match with Jamie! It's the highlight of the show imo. Phil Dunster plays it so incredibly. I knew you would see the tragedy in him punching his dad. Some people see it as this triumfant moment, but it's not and I love that the show gets that. You can see Jamie really trying, probably with coping strategies from Sharon, trying to assert that he deserves respect from his dad when he belittles him. The expressions on his face, his tense body. He's incredible. And Roy, who Jamie has been looking up to for years, stepping up. It's so good.

This episode, to me, is the core of season 2, which is all about daddy issues (Roy and Sophie, Nate and his dad, Ted and his, Jamie and his, etc).
