DAMN IT I NEED TO SEE YOUR REACTION TO THE NEXT EPISODE ... AND THEN THE ONES AFTER THAT! Great reactions and I love watching this season again right after watching the reactions to the first season so I can be reminded of all the callbacks we're seeing in the current and ... (chokes back tears) ... last season (imagine those last two words as if I said them with a sad quiver in my voice). Also, you absolutely need to see the film "Once". An independent Irish romance that's a musical, but not in the normal way. The two main characters are actual musicians so they sing and play together during the film and one of the songs from it won an Academy Award for 'Best Original Song'. One of my absolute favorite films and based on your shirt, it might be one of yours. Okay, now I have to wait for the next "Firefly" episode to get me through to the next "Ted Lasso" episode; rinse & repeat.

Let me put in a 3rd vote for Once! Excellent movie directed and written by John Carney who was the bass player for the Irish band The Frames with Glen Hansard, one of the 2 leads of Once. Saw it in Seattle after watching The Frames close the Bumbershoot music festival. Carney’s other music movies are Begin Again with Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightly, and the wonderful Sing Street about the formation of an Irish high school band, sort of what if the Beatles were Irish and started out in the 80s. It has a great song called To Find You, which in context of the story will make you weep.

Xander obviously has excellent taste, although now I want to know what his first fav of all time is).

“Sing Street” is great, too, and I still need to see “Begin Again”. Of course, “The Commitments” from 1991 about the Irish kids forming a Motown/soul cover band is a wonderful film and won a bunch of BAFTA’s, including Best Film, Director, Screenplay (adapted), and Editing. I’m long overdue for a rewatch on that one, actually.
