I know you love Alan Tudyk and this episode has the best Alan Tudyk story, When this show was cancelled, Joss was in his office trying anything to keep the show going...speaking to other studios trying to get a way to continue his show. Alan brought Joss the red button, and told Joss something like, "When your miracle happens (to continue the show), you just press this [red] button and we will all come back". And they did, for the miracle of the Serenity movie.

If you‘re looking for a model of Serenity and have some cash to spare, there was/is a collector‘s edition of the show on Blu Ray here in Germany that features a really good and big model of the ship. It cost €300 back in the day and you can still get it new on ebay, sometimes even cheaper than when it launched. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/715VwXBJrNL._SL1500_.jpg Thanks to the reaction, my fandom/nostalgia for the show is very strong at the moment and if I hadn‘t spent the my money on some other stupid stuff this month, I might have become weak. Fun Fact: If your life support cuts out you don't die from a lack of oxygen, you die from the accumulation of the CO2 that you breath out. Apollo 13 is one of the few that showed that correctly. And the needle through the heart is a movie thing, in reality puncturing the heart is never helpful!

Really enjoying these reactions. Out of Gas is definitely in my top 3 but my favourite episode is yet to come (War Stories). Based on what you've said about who you like and why I think you will enjoy it too.

This is a really heavy hitting episode. Tim Minear's writing really shows a deep understanding of all of the characters, but he also clearly had fun throwing in a few twists that still felt pitch perfect for everyone. My personal favorite episode 9, but episodes 8, 9, and 10 are all very heavy hitting episodes for me, even compared with the rest of the season. But there aren't any real misses in this show, so I'm looking forward to every episode you've got left!

In regards to the missed kiss, it makes sense if you are trying to have a longer running show, b/c you can see both characters want to but at the same time it would be an admission of defeat, and above all other things Mal doesn't go down easy which was the other subtext of this episode and series. But my favorite episode is coming up soon. Last thing, your tetris background drives me nuts every single time, you are slightly evil in a good way.

I feel Inara and Mal take their jobs very seriously and a kiss is an avoidable complication… but I wants it!!!! Also I can only do so much with the lamp but I love messing with everyone 😈😈😈

I truly wish someone had reached you earlier and convinced you to watch this as the final episode. I also wish someone had instructed me the same. And, as Erik Oson mentions, the Tetris light-blocks are driving me insane! Me, want the blocks!
