Unfortunately, Apple strikes again! Ted Lasso gets hit with copyrights days after it’s posted all the time. I’m just waiting on Xander to send me the edit so I’ll upload it to Vimeo where it won’t be blocked. Sorry for the inconvenience guys will get it up as soon as we can!

If you didn't receive any paperwork it wasn't a actual copyright but rather a glitch with Patreon . Riley had the same problem that night and it corrected itself the next day as yours appears to have

Sucks that you have to deal with that. You would think these companies would just enjoy the free promotion. Only reason I have an AppleTV+ sub right now is because of your videos. I'm curious, do they at least tell you which part of a video is problematic or you have to go through the whole thing to figure out where there might be too much audio/video of the show? If it's the latter that sounds like a major pita.

They do but they pick out the parts that would be the most viewed. Typically because there is too much showing elsewhere. But they are VERY willynilly with their own guidelines.

I get an automatic email from apple. Patreon is just a hosting service. Vimeo doesn't scan for copy-written materials so it's easier to have it up there while we sort it out.

Yeah that sounds really annoying to deal with. It would be nice if they had a system to "verify" creators that have shown that they are being careful with copyrights and you could get some slack when it comes to those claims. With the amount of videos on your channel I feel like you've more than proven that you play by the rules at this point.

That’s so frustrating! I’m a huge Apple fan (obviously), but damn, I’d think they would be a bit more open and forthcoming with these sorts of things. Thanks for pushing through with it!

I am waiting for a new version to be rendered because of the Christmas episode, we also added the Christmas short at the end, and then we had to do a full length version as well. I don’t have my computer here so for Patreon I would have to do five separate posts. And doing that on my phone is a little difficult so I’ll probably wait until I get home tomorrow morning from LA.

Well, we didn’t have many problems with severance. Maybe one or two episodes gave us an issue. The problem with Ted Lasso is that they’re shorter episodes so we do multiple shows in one reaction. If one of those gets hit by a copyright, then we edit it down. Sometimes all three episodes get a copyright
