FULL LENGTH REACTION

You can't be doing this to me! It's like 11 pm where I live! I was ready to go to bed now I have to watch this and maybe the two other reactions first 😂

Andreas Kyun

Looking forward to see if you were familiar with this B alumni from the 90s appearing in this 4th episode to interact with the cast directly and recognized him.

It's okay, not your fault I have no impulse control 🙄 but great reactions, this show is just perfect for you 🤩

Just in case you didn't have time to go back and check, and for anyone wondering, Jamie got "The Beautiful and The Damned" in the previous episode :)

Yes! Love watching these Ted Lasso reactions! The lightheartedness of this show just makes me feel good. Also, Robert Smith is the lead singer from The Cure. Very emotional.

Firewalker

Seems like the video and your video are a bit unsynched, not too big a deal though. Loving your reactions!

Patrick Egan

I noticed the same thing, Angela's reactions were coming just a tiny bit ahead of what she was reacting to. Easy enough to compensate for, though.

Nathanael Fuller (Polygon Wizard)

I'm kind of glad I've been a little busy lately and wasn't able to watch all the episodes last week. Now I get to watch 5 Ted Lasso reactions in a row instead of just three!

Your analysis and reaction were great and so fun to watch. Your intro insights had me smiling. This show is so well done. I enjoyed seeing Anthony Head(Rupert) playing a toxic bad guy for once. I remember him when he was Rupert Giles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer as her watcher/father-figure. I hear he’s a very nice man IRL. Roy and Beard:love those guys the most, butTed is the heart.

If you like audio…check out the Audio Performance of the book “Good Omens” by Neil Gaiman. Anthony Head plays a toady-villain that is so out there and yet so good…he gives an absolutely *delicious* performance. (Plus, James McAvoy, Natalie Dormer, and Benedict Cumberbatch! It’s great!)

That sounds good. Thanks for the suggestion. I do like Neil Gaiman too

Fun trivia for this episode: You know that Roy Kent is played by Brett Goldstein, who started as a writer on the show. But Coach Beard’s date Jane is played by Phoebe Walsh, who is also from the writer’s room! AND…for season 3, she got a new title: Producer. Writers are cool people.

As always, love your reaction and more so your analysis. My thoughts about Ruperts behaviour: I think being the hero is only one of the reasons. He is (as Rebecca pointed out) an insecure man and the divorce hit him hard, albeit in a different way than Rebecca. She left him, not the other way round and more so, she got a big chunk of his money AND his beloved football club. That hurt his fragile ego and so he uses the first opportunity he gets, to try and hurt her, humiliate her and make her look small to feel big again. Unfortunately he knows her well and hits all her weak spots. Fortunately she has Ted, who fixes immediately what Rupert tries to destroy and Keely who is becoming the bestie she really needed. Following her inital plan gets more and more difficult each day, as Ted (and Keeley) continue to bring her walls down one by one. 😊
