On the look of the show, it should be noted that unlike all of the other D+ SW shows so far, this one never filmed in the volume. It’s all outdoors and practical sets — hence the wide open cinematic look of everything. In some cases, the score was performed live on set by the orchestra during filming just to give another element for the actors to go off of. Groovy.

Don’t get me wrong, I quite enjoy the volume as well. But, it has been grossly overused in some cases. Hopefully they’ll find that good balance that was found early on. 👍🏼
